GREAT IDEAS! THOSE "SURVIVAL BLANKETS" ARE BETTER THAN NOTHING, BUT YOU WANT TO GET WARMED UP BEFORE WRAPING IN THEM. EVERYONE SHOULD REMEMBER THEY ARE NOT INSULATION, ONLY REFLECT HEAT BACK. THEY ALSO HELP KEEP WIND FROM SUCKING OUT YOUR HEAT. GOOD STUFF!

Great points. Imaunly carry those blankets as wind and rain block and trapping heat from a fire

Nice kit. Add a small signal mirror and maybe a whistle. Never give aspirin to a stroke victim, heart attack sure but not a stroke victim.

Excellent kit you have put together sir. Thank you for sharing. I have most of the stuff you mentioned minus the quick reference card. If you get time you should add that as a PDF download for a reference to your online class. Sounds like a helpful sheet of paper. Nice little kit!! I would also include a tourniquet. They sell them for under $20 and they weigh next to nothing. A must for out west! Nice video!

Great idea! I do carry a quick clot sponge in my pack that is fast easy access. But a tourny is a great idea as well.

This is an older video but I’d recommend a small marker pen, razor blade or small knife (prefer knife) and a small mirror. All would fit the kit not add much weight or bulk but can add massive benefits

Nice kit, maybe just update the CPR procedure. Enjoying the bowhunting course as well excellent info!! Got a doe in the freezer already, transition line between bedding shot at 2pm perfect hunt!!
