With the mother in law stealing the meal, and the husband watching then telling her to make dinner…..I would not cook. Let him go hungry. Easy to miss a meal. Why ask silly questions. State you stole our meal and let me go hungry. I cannot afford to feed you mother in law.

This is the 21st century year 2024. I am sick and tired of these mother-in-law’s saying a woman’s place is in the house. NO ITS NOT!!!!!! a marriage is a partnership which means the husband chores around the house just like the way. It is not all on the wife. She’s not a bad wife. If she’s working in today’s world you have to have a to income family. And husband don’t ever give your mother a spare key without your wife’s permission. Your wife does not need her mother-in-law coming into the house every day constantly criticizing her. What goes on between a husband and wife is not the mother-in-law‘s business on either side or her father-in-law‘s business on either side. It’s just between the couple and you mother-in-law in this story if you felt your son wasn’t eating right since you were over there why didn’t you cook for him instead of yelling at your daughter-in-law when she got home late from work and she made a quick meal. You were there all that time you should’ve made him something or you should’ve ordered in. The OP was right in divorcing her husband because she just didn’t have a husband to listen to. She had a mother-in-law and father-in-law. They have no right to tell her what to do and the husband he should’ve stood up for her but no, he listen to whatever his parents said. It’s no wonder he your wife divorced you
