- He used to spend half an hour, trying to establish some hair.
- Just trying to make hair appear.
- So much in him changed, literally the day you got it done. Like even before it looked nice, even when, even when it looked scaly and everything.
- That's actually a very good point. Yeah. The main thing I've noticed is I don't really look in the mirror as much anymore, or really at all.
- Its gone out of your mind.
- Before. Yeah. Before I even leave the house now. I just walk out the door. I get to be a Pro Vlogger today.
- So last year, my lovely husband here, opened up to you guys about his insecurity, around his hairline, his former hairline. Genetic hair loss.
- For me, it's about looking in the mirror, and not really recognizing the person there anymore. Because with hairline and hair thickness, it changes the shape of your face. It really does. And then also, I tried to just run with it and I was, "Okay, I'm going to be one of those cool shaved head guys" I did a zero all over.
- Oh yeah, you looked so hot, with the shaved head, I loved it.
- Like everyone said, it suited me, and I looked in the mirror, and I was like, "Yeah, it kind of does suit me, as well." But at the same time, I still didn't feel like I looked like myself. I told you I was going to get a hair transplant, and I did it, it's completely transformed my confidence.
- It's like night and day. Honestly.
- Yeah, it's crazy. I absolutely love it.
- In this video, we're going to talk through that whole process. Thomas got loads of footage. I got loads of footage. We were sent so many questions. We're going to try and get to a lot of those, in this video. And hopefully, it will be really helpful for anyone else, who is looking up about hair transplants. If your partner wants one. And Thomas had been looking into this clinic for years and years and years. I'd heard him going on about it for years. So I just really wanted to organize this for him. I just never have to listen to you complaining any more, about your hair. So it's just great for me.
- Do you remember how I used to get, if I couldn't find my hat? If I didn't have time to gel my hair, I'd have to wear a hat. I would have to wear a hat.
- Yeah.
- And if I couldn't find my hat.
- Oh he was a bull in...
- I'd be running round the house. It was hyper fixating myself, but I just couldn't shake it. I tried loads of things to help. I was using minoxidil, which a lot of people know as Regaine. I was using that, from the age of about 25. And I definitely think that did something. It definitely slowed the process down, and it made my hair a bit more healthy, I think as well, but it was still progressing. And I was, by the age of probably 27, I knew I was going to get a hair transplant, eventually. What do you think of it?
- They did an amazing job. It looks completely natural. It basically, just turned back time a bit. I'll show you a picture here. This is before Thomas and I were in a relationship. This was probably like 2015, and we were mates, on a night out. At that time though, your hair was like styled forward. I was terrified of Thomas getting this, and I tried to talk him out of it for a very long time. I tried to tell him I loved his head shaved. I really did love it. And I just wanted him to leave it alone. But I didn't realize how much the technology has advanced, since hair transplants became a thing, a few decades ago. And yeah, it looks completely, like if you look up close, it's just insane. And I'm going to include loads of pictures and footage, through this, so you guys can really see, very up close. But what makes the difference to me is just the confidence. Like you were starting to just really, I felt him just shriveling up. You just were so conscious of it. And that picture of you feeding our son, like expressed breast milk, in a bottle. And do you know the picture I'm talking about?
- [Thomas] Yeah. When he saw this specific picture of himself, he just looked so, so sad. And I'm just of the opinion that, if something is genuinely getting someone that much, like completely eating into your life, in that way, whether it's, nose, boobs, anything like that. If it's a fix that you can afford, or that is possible for you, like why not? They did an amazing job. I'll show you and we'll talk about the procedure.
