My husband slapped me for cutting the anniversary cake, demanding I get his mom's permission first.. 

The majority of these stories are based in another country and culture (Japan, I think). Their justice system is quite different from how ours work (in the US anyway).

Your response is ideal, you have thought what you would 6do in the same situation, so if any hellish thing happens you are more likely to respond quickly and effectively. I back stopped my husband and he went from a low level to earning 700,000 during the marriage. I was highly regarded by the CEO and his wife of the global company he was employed in. This lifted him. After I stopped fully covering for him, his work-lace recognised his betrayal of me, the men were all married with double standards of behaviour of course, but primarily wife and family were held high. This affected his further promotions. After the divorce which was prolonged and terrible, he dropped way down in status to a low level position. Women will cover for bad men as exposure can affect them negatively and the children. My husband manipulated and cruelly told my child something a few years before the divorce initiated by him, which affected my child for that year of university. It was deliberate.

@@corinalariccia953 my in laws were pretty good. I took care of them for 33 years after divorce. But my two daughters' mother-in-law, well both total unprintable words. They did not want to share the grandkids, and were worried I might attract their gungy husbands, they spoiled my daughter's and grandkids and were unbelievably cruel to me. And my daughters supported their behaviour and together they pushed me out of the family circle. Now my girls are dark because I disowned them, and they have been removed from my will.

MIL is one of those insecure, foolish women who won't let go of her son and let him be A MAN. At the wedding, her people didn't go after Kyle, WTF'ing hell! She was abused by her new husband and he's already mistreating her. This can't be new behavior. My family, men especially, would have taken care of that Kyle problem with the quickness. The name of this story was misleading, by the way.

None of these stories make sense because they're total rubbish and the descriptions don't even fit the story .. crap basically
