I'm so happy I discovered this channel!... Dani, you are just so precious and beautiful , and so many women, (myself included,) experience mild to massive hair loss for so many different reasons throughout our lives, but especially as we age.... And it could possibly reverse... But I'm not going to lie and say that for a fact... I just wanted to stop by and say that you are so blessed to have a husband that apparently worships you.... I would give every hair on my head to have my precious husband back that I just lost to cancer last September. Sharing your journey with so many others suffering from the same affliction is going to benefit more women than you can imagine, so hang in there .... You've got lots of people rooting for you! I keep seeing your videos in my recommendations. I felt sympathy after watching your first video. I also have had an incident in the past where my hair got fried and I basically had to shave it all off. The very next morning I went to the store, bought a wig, and accepted I'd have to wear it until my hair grew back. Same day, I went to class. It took me exactly 3 days to get over it. I think the way to come to peace with something like this (a temporary inconvenience or an uncomfortable reality), is to realize that nothing bad actually happened to you. Bad, is losing a finger or an arm. You still have your sight, your hearing, your legs, your arms, your fingers, your beautiful face, your friends, your family. Everything is the same, except your hair. And even that will come back. *Let go* of the idea that you're supposed to have long full flowy hair, and *accept* that right now, you have thinning balding hair that WILL grow back, with patience and wigs. Let go of ideals, accept your reality and be comforted by the fact that this is temporary.

You mentioned in one of your videos that your hair moved when people hugged you... look up the “wig grip”. It is Awesome! Can wear with a cap, but it keeps the wig from shifting.

I am glad you have come to the point that you are having fun with your girls. You mentioned once when your father in law hugged you that your girl slipped. Try doing review on a " wig grip band" I think they are called. Looks like a very secure way to keep the girls from slipping or moving. Enjoy!

You two are such a great couple!! Your husband is amazing and so supportive. So great to see. I have worn wigs for almost 6 years but recently realized that a medication I was on and recently discontinued was the cause of my hair loss. Even as my hair is all growing back in now, I'm still very glad I discovered wigs. I just wish all people with hair loss could get the true message that wigs are awesome and in this day and age very comfortable. Love your videos you two!! Keep up on spreading the very positive side of wearing wigs.

I'm in Texas as well. City of the Spurs. You'll are a sweet couple. Your husband is a wonderful and caring man. I applaud your courage with your alopecia. I to have alopecia but my hair will never grow back. I'm a nurse and just FYI, you probably already did this but got to a dermatologist and tell them what's going on and they will take a biopsy in the area of your hair loss. It needs to be sent to a special pathology lab for dermatological diagnosis. I have scarring alopecia, frontal fibrosing alopecia. UGH!!!!! I am also losing my eyebrows and now 2 years later my eyelashes are starting to slowly come out. This is a very rare disease that I have. It's a lot of research but well worth it. I know too well how you feel!

you can also get hand tied custom wigs made for you for like 400.00. from Amarie lace wigs ( she's on you tube) with human hair... or go all the way and get a wig by freedom couture ( she's on you tube)

I'm surprised your head is bigger then mine. I do have a big head as well 22.5 I got a 23 inch wig block if I ever decide to make my own. Don't ever get a Norkio wig it will squeeze your brain they are so freaking tight. Raquel Welch had great big head friendly wigs. Henry Margu also has big head friendly wigs. They do make hat wigs. Which are cute but I haven't gotten one. This Jon Renau wig is gorgeous. Your hubby is so sweet to get it for you. My hubby is will supportive of my wig collection. BTW I hairspray the wig cap to my head before I put on the wig. That keeps if from sliding around under the wig.

Dani I just started wearing wigs. I have hair loss it just broke my heart. But I found that is working great is this. GEX Wig Grip Band Adjustable Wig Comfort Band with Adjustable Hook and Loop Fastener Non Slip Breathable Thin Head Hair Band to Keep Wig. Your wig will not move it is amazing and got it on amazon. They are the sweetest CUPEL, and she is a doll ,I love your wigs,I am a older women when I was young I wor wigs all the time and I still do different colors and styles I getting ready to get me a short brown wig, my hair is platinum long,, my hair come out to i tk.from medicine. And nerves maybe that's your problem bc.you have ALOT of your own hair .mine has been on and off for MENNY years but it grows back..

Hey Dani! If you're looking for wig tips and tricks, I highly recommend videos on cosplay wigs. For example, ear tabs help center the wig, and the other style of wig cap (the net kind that is an open tube) is a huge quality of life improvement for many. Lots of good content for lace fronts too :) congrats on the new do, all the best!

And if you're ever looking for colorful wigs at a lower price point, I really love Arda! They use a blend of colors in any wig, so it's a lot more natural than some other options. If you ever want to try for fun ^^

As you continue on your wig journey, you can try customizing your wigs. There are some great black youtubers that produce great wig content, esp in regards to customizing wigs and making your own!
