I Love IFA brother. I did Isefa a while back but was really nervous about taking on the responsibilities associated with Itefa. Congratulations! Thanks for your insight.
Exactly the energy was definitely there, Im very empathic as well which really allowed me to be comfortable. Made the experience so much more enjoyable. But that’s why I love sharing my experience I encourage everyone to explore their destiny. Thank for the support ❤️
Generally they can vary , but personally I charge 50 usd plus the cost of ebo/remedie that comes out after divination. As far as initiation the price in my family varies from male to female but it’s generally $1500-$3000. Keep in mind these prices a subjective to family’s and babalowos. Thinking of doing a detailed pricing video to break down cost writhing the practice.
Not trying to discourage you from pursuing Ifa. Do you know about/practice Odinani? If you are Igbo you should know that you have a spiritual tradition practiced by your own Igbo ancestors called Odinani. Studying both could be beneficial to having a deeper understanding of African spirituality, while studying Odinani will teach you about the spiritual practices that has connected your ancestral lineage to the creator and may help you come closer to your ancestors. It will at the very least help you to understand how your ancestors related to and moved within community, nature, and spirit.
I will do a video on this as well but honestly starting this journey I always prayed the right teachers would find me and they did and over the years we got to know each other like family
No you do not have to do isefa first. Many people do based off there level of commitment to ifa if they may not quite be ready or just want to work their way into the practice. On the other some ile( house/ifa family) the may require you to do isefa first. On terms of cost it may vary because of the supplies needed and depending on how many other babalowo that will be present to help with the itefa.
