Thank you so much for making these videos. I just moved here two days ago, got a pretty expensive flat in zone 1 and a great job, but it's only for three months. And I already know that I won't want to go home in three months. After watching your video I'm actually pretty sure that I'm just gonna stay a bit longer.
I am glad you made it in English since I (and many others) wouldn't understand it. Btw, your video is very sincere, I enjoyed it and you barely have an accent, hence I give you my props.
Hi there! I really enjoyed watching this :) It's a funny coincidence actually, because the month you first moved to London was the same month I lived in London. Just like you I moved there for an internship. Unfortunately, mine didn't work out so well (they pretty much just hired me as a cheap translator) so I moved to Milton Keynes a few weeks later because I had found a much better placement there. I returned to the UK two years ago and have been living here ever since. Great advice! This video provides so much valuable information and insight. The only piece of information I would like to add is that IF you have to rent a place and there's no way you can fly over to view beforehand, use spareroom.co.uk, explain your situation, ask for lots of pictures and for the love of God DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY. Back in 2011 when I moved to the UK I did not have the funds to go and view places beforehand so that's exactly what I did. I was very lucky, the place was lovely. However, I also had a few cheap B&Bs noted down, as well as more rooms that I could have viewed the same day. One of the advantages about moving to London is that there's always something available ;) Lots of love from a fellow expat and keep posting :)
Cheers to you for make videos about your experience in the U.K... and your accent i think i'm watching your videos for your accent its so charming you sound like a true londoner... Really lovely C:
Hey! I'm from Germany and currently don't know what to do after finishing school. Can you give me the name of the photography studio where you did an internship, please? :)

Hi, i want to migrate to the UK hopefully one day in future. But i need to get work visa which holding me up... any tips? PS: i don't have any contacts or anyone living in the UK...
You obviously don't understand the definition of immigration. It's when you move to a country you're not native to. I am German. I moved to England. I am an immigrant.
Hello there! I am from Austria and acutally moving to London on the first of June. I would like to get my flat over the Internet platform Rightmove. Does anyone have any experiences with this site or knows if its trustworthy ? Thank you for helping me out.
+Jen Dre Hi just wanted to know, I need to find a job (any job) in uk fthat will start one month in advance at least, that way I could find a replacement for my current job at home, do you think its possible in 2 weeks?
Not sure I understand the question? One month in advance? As you want a job now that does not start until 4 weeks in the future? Yes they exist. Just say that's you're notice period.
+Jen Dre The question is, how hard/easy are they to get? If I go on a two weeks vacation to uk, will it be enough time to find an employer that will agree for that kind of arrangment
+Jen Dre Alright thanks, if you happen to over hear some one talking about this subject i'd love to hear how they managed! and by the way thanks for these videos, super good
How to find a job and a flat and how expensive is moving to uk? Is it possible? because of Brexit! Pls answer that shortly even though you maybe made vids about that! Thx a lot.
Hallo.
Wish I had the balls to move to another country, suppose the language thing has always put me off, I'm terrible at other languages. Not even that good at English.
