Looks is subjective talaga. Noong una ko itong nakita sa mga advertisements, in photos, hindi talaga nag appeal yung looks nya sakin. Pero noong nakita ko siya in the metal, nagandahan ako. Very masculine and imposing ang stance nya. But I have to say, mas gusto ko ung front fascia ng GLX kesa sa GLS na may chrome. Na test drive ko din ito and I can say that everything said in this video about the driving dynamics are spot on.
Ganito dapat ei review at test-drive yung mga pick-up trucks. Utility and durability dapat ang ipa kita. Good job Mitsubishi Philippines and great job sir Levi for a very nice and informative review. 😁
Sleeper talaga ang strada ever since what more itong bagong triton, maganda na humatak ang 4n15 dati, itong 4n16 might be the perfect engine, this shows that specs on paper doesn’t do justice.. other pick ups might have higher hp and torque but if you tune an engine and transmission correctly it can outperform those numbers.
Nilabas few weeks ago yung XForce, para lang may idea ka where the new gen montero will be derived from. Pero yung engine and chassis based parin dito sa Triton.
Nice review! I agree with everything. I'm looking forward to what the next generation Montero Sport will be like with the biturbo engine + 8 speed automatic. While I'm not a fan of the Triton's face and some of it's lack of features, I think its performance more than makes up for these shortcomings.
Also next gen Navara and Terra might be based on this. I hope the Navara version comes with a better face, standard rear ac vents, and most importantly, disc rear brakes especially for a pickup meant to haul heavy stuff.

I agree sir, medjo off din sakin yung front fascia nitong Triton given na ang laki ng ginanda ng Navara and Ranger this past year. Ito kasi parang mas similar siya sa Hyundai Kona kesa dun sa Xpander kung saan dinerive yung design. Hopefully ma review mo rin sir yung Triton GL 4x4 MT variant, dami naka abang dun for sure hehe! I also liked your review on the similar Ranger XL 4x4 MT, very detailed and with owners perspective pa.

What's the advantage of the Triton Super Select II 4WD compare to the 4WD of Ranger and Hi-lux? Also, the Active Yaw Control (AYC) of Triton, is it really good in cornering compared to Ranger and Hi-lux?

Wait, do you really need a 4x4 MT or any 4x4 for daily pickup, with a possibility of camping as tanay /baguio? talaga ba need mo ng 4x4? considering the weight and maintenance?
Sir sure na po ba na 800mm po yung flood water wading capability nito? Sa ibang review po kc hndi p nila sure. Kung sakali aq papiliin s ngyon eto piiliin q dhil mas lumaki n yung bed capacity nya unlike b4 ky medyo nao off aq s Strada. Ky kht 2.4 lng yung Hilux mas gsto q ito nuon dhil mas malaki at mas mabigat bed capacity.

Sir Levi if you are choosing the triton against the wildtrack due to the displacement size of engine, then you are saying your Raptor will also develop a reliability issue in the future. Also that means the engine of Dmax and Conquest 4x4 is better than the biturbo engine of Ford because they have bigger displacement? For me the best engine is the engine of dmax because of reliability, power, lots of spare parts available, and less turbo to maintain.
The engine of the raptor needs more attention and knowledge when it comes to maintaining it in order for it to stand the test of time. It is not for everybody. Kaya I recommend engines of other brands to people who doesn’t want to go with that route and wants a straightforward maintainance

if i am to buy i will choose triton rather than the ranger due to reliability issue and hilux due to harsh suspension and no update if it already passed the moose test

Marami kasi hanging pa di masyado naintindihan pa. Kahit ako ng Toyota owner diko pa masyado naintidihan. Basta alam ko lang ay inaassure naman ng TMP na di apektado ang Philippine market.
I can answer this sir. The only reason why the Philippine market is not affected is because what was rigged was the process of obtaining the certification of security and safety rating as per standards ng Japan. TMP is saying hindi affected ang Philippines because no such tests were performed as a requirement for our local market. Dinaan sa technicality kumbaga, the question is the left or right side airbag if magkaron ng collision , will it endanger Yung passenger kasi dun sa rigged test, ginawang nila ng parang "concave" slot para mabilis lumabas ang airbag. This is not an actual feature sa actual produced units. In my opinion, Hindi ito safe Kasi once an airbag is deployed, may fragment or plastic na nabbreak. I hope I was able to explain it.
@@St3PdOwN2UrL3v3L How about sa Engine certification sir GD 1 at GD2. Sabi kasi from Japan government standard ang certification for smoother engine. Yup wala nga tayo ganyan dito sa Pinas pero wala nman siguro tayo ikabahala sa reliability ng Engine kasi nagsimula pa daw last 2016 pa mga makina gumamit ng ibang ECU na di parehas ng ECU sa mass production. Pero wla naman na report na problema sa mga makina since 2016.
@@EL-PAULO-80it's all about cheating on real horsepower ng diesel engine ng Toyota..so since may cheating sa power affected ang emission results ng mga units at alam naman natin kung gaano ka strict ibang bansa when it comes to emission results. Biruin mo aminado sila sa pandaraya na kanilang ginawa.
mabuti pato mataas headroom .. yung montero ko sagad na pababa yung seat pero apat na daliri lng space sa pagitan ng ulo ko at head room, dapat kasi tinaasan ng konti yung body ng montero
@@jlab1482My dad's service vehicle before was a 1993 Nissan Patrol Safari (TD42 engine). Its mileage was around 370k when he returned the vehicle, as he was assigned to another department. He was amazed how the Patrol Safari a trouble-free vehicle and reliable..Now we have 1998 Patrol Safari, we bought it 2nd hand wayback 2002 currently around 250k mileage. No engine trouble and suspension issues. Acceleration is sluggish due to its big size and weight.
That’s a new engine design, I wouldn’t say it’s there best engine.. should wait 5 to 10 years if it’s reliable.. well we can just hope it’s a longevity, less maintenance…

Off center pa rin pala ang rear camera nya. Not a deal breaker pero kung may tow hook very helpful sana. Nakita ko na to nakadisplay sa mall. When I check the inside look, minimalist ang datingan sa black color accent. And more plastic surface. Kaya di ganun kamahal. Good review sir Levi!!! 💪
