Isuzu the best and most reliable brand. I have a MUX i drove from Cebu ( north to south) then to Gen.San / Sarangani via land trip passing Bukidnon in Manolo Fortich zigzag roads. None at all i had issues at aberya on the road. To think loaded with 9 adults and 5 luggages. My MUX never disappoints me. Kaya pagka usaping brands.
Laki ng improvements ng dmax when it comes to tech and features . We have the older model na 2017 4x4 LS-A, lacking sa features pero never naging sakit sa ulo and gets the job done.
And if i may add sir levi. The alternator belt, airconbelt, power steering belt are independent with each other. Unlike a serpentine belt where all bearings are tied to one belt.
What I love about this pick up is its interior space, nvh, engine, infotainment screen and the brand itself. I can say this is great car to keep for years. Just had a test ride today and it puts a smile on my face.
At this point nanonood nalang ako to learn what other brands has to offer from their lineup. We are very satisfied naman with our ford ranger sport pero ang saya lang makita na nag iinovate ang iba ibang brands to compete with each other, and in the end tayong mga consumer ang makikinabang
Aesthetics, for a minimalist, masyadong busy nga siya tignan. But performance and reliability, you're truly secured. Aesthetically I prefer the design of Navarra, then ipasok yung chassis and all the performance of D'max, renew tung touch screen gaya ng Ford yung naka vertical para malaki yung view at maliwanag.
Ang nakaka disappoint lng is yung after service, nung nasiraan ako sa pampanga wala tumulong sakin from isuzu branch dun sa area.. ang solution tow truck to parañaque.. buti pa “toyota” kahit wala na warranty ung unit me tutulong sayo casa..
Other than that wala naman na
better than Conquest 4x4. Lamang lang sa engine Conquest since 1GD pero sa other features Dmax wins. Sulit sa price point. Also you can have the 4JJ3 tuned and you will have a monster
Wow! This review surpasses all other reviews I've seen about this vehicle. My suggestion, Sir, is to add English subtitles to the video because as much as I appreciate the explanation in Tagalog, it would be great for international viewers to watch it too. It's a shame not to share such an excellent review. Once again, you did not disappoint your viewers. Thank you for yet another wonderful review. As for the vehicle, this might be the one I’d choose over any other brand on the market today. But in terms of technology, Isuzu did not disappoint. My question to you and to others who might read this is, if you had this Isuzu Dmax and a Ford Ranger Wildtrak in front of you, and you had the money to buy one, which one would you choose?
Thank you! for your inputs I’ll try to consider adding captions. For your question I think I’ll still lean towards the wildtrak given how I use my vehicle and what I prioritize more refinement, driving feel, and comfort. I don’t carry super heavy loads either but casually use the bed to carry items that cannot fit in SUVS or crossovers. From all the pick ups that i have tested i just can’t deny that the rangers’ driving experience is just superior from the rest. Even the smallest things such as driving position quality of its screens, materials used in the cabin, NVH levels really uplifts the experience whenever you use it. Reliability might not be its strongest point but given the performance of the new gen rangers as of now I think they’re doing fine, there are few small glitches here and there but not a big deal for you not to purchase one as long as there is no issues with the powertrain. Ford appears to have made significant adjustments to address any concerns with the Rangers. Just be aware that if you’re going to keep the vehicle for 8-10 yrs cost of maintenance would be higher than its japanese competitors. So the DMAX and other japanese brand of pickups will shine on that aspect.
@@ridewithlevi6418 Thank you for the reply, Sir. I will definitely take into account everything you said, and all your inputs will be part of my consideration. Again, Sir, thank you so much. - From your biggest fan
Boss, you go for the all new product….TRITON. It’s the sweet spot of all pick up. Youve got both of the worlds. WildTrack is i guess 3 year old product while Dmax design is already ancient. After 5 years bago parin tingnan ang TRITON. But between Dmax&WildTrack…go for the WildTrack. This is coming from a car owner who has Isuzu,Toyota& Subaru. Just my two cents.😜
Their allow wheels have been historically a "miss." The steel rims look better. However, Isuzu pick ups have the reputation of having the thickest seats among its competitors providing you the best riding comfort there is. They used to be the leader in rear legroom until Ford dislodged them from the no. 1 position.
Mas prefer ko rin previous TAIL LIGHT design kasi mas visible pag stopping ka unlike yung bago na yung sa taas na line lang umiilaw pag brakes at mas maliit though led, not as bright as the previous design na buong square umiilaw pag preno
ISUZU used to be one of the top leading suv with their Trooper back in the days. I think they got stuck with their idea believing Durability and Reliability alone can compete in today’s market and have fallen behind the competition with technology, Comfort, materials and design. With the wide variety of options and how fast the pace of developments of new cars in today’s market, reliability and durability is often disregarded due to new models comes in the market yearly. Unlike most of the buyers now a days who change their cars every 5-10 yrs. Isuzu is out of the consideration when buying a car due to staying far behind from other competitors. Unless you plan to keep your car as much as you can, you can never go wrong with ISUZU
"There is no comparison between this old D-Max and the other brands new iteration. the new versions have undergone full model changes, whereas this D-Max is still using an old platform that has only seen minor updates for over a decade. In terms of overall sales, the legacy brands that constantly changes has proven its success. Regardless of our personal opinions, personal preferences don't determine overall sales. You should look at sales as a barometer of the true quality of a vehicle."
Nice review. Inmo, dmax, hilux and strada mas ok and reliable compare sa ford. been using t6 ranger and ford fiesta. driving dynamics and performance ok pero reliability and cost of parts malayo sa japanese counterparts.
Triton kasi naka EPS magaan manibela. Dmax naman may adaptive cruise control and mas madaming tech features.
For me okay lng even hnd coil spring ung rear kasi pang work nmn ito pwed mo lagyan kahit overload pa yan hnd tumitingala pag kargado.bedides hnd nmn ito Sedan.
Sir Levi, dami narin nagtatanong. When can we watch a Comparo on 4x4 base variants on all brands? This is for those looking to mod and upgrade aftermarket. Sana soon Love your reviews!
another great review. hope so we as your followers get a dose of weekly update and car review Ride with Levi. parang kulang ang linggo ko pag walang Ride with Levi YT.
