We need the hobby of micro rc racing to become popular. Even something like the old kyosho dnano they was super scale looking, you could build a track on a custom made table the sane size as a 1/32 4 lane slot car track so that way it doesn't take much room and you can have scale racing in your mancave
I plan on making a drift track. Other people use outdoor carpet and will hot glue down candy cane colored rope. Very cheap im not sure how well it works for grip racing though.
Nice setup...did you use heat gun to bend pipe at all? OR did you just find all parts and assemble?.PS.. what are lane width on standard mini z track?..thanks again
That lip protector is supposed to come off when they arrive at dealership but the techs that do new car inspection and remove all the film and protective covering and never took off that yellow piece now it's a "custom effect" haha
Great track, you've followed my Golden rule i use for all my different scale of RC racing. 8 times the width of the RC Car gives the best racing for overtaking and maximises space optimisation.
oh yea i just bought me a gl racing gtr chassis.. i had evolved my mr03 evo chassis to a full suspension with tiny oil filled shocks, so it was time to grab a full on race chassis.
I have it stored in boxes right now. Had to make room for all my kids toys 🤦🏻♂️lol. But I have a track setup at AJ hobbies in vaughan. You can go check it out there during store hours.
They slip off but only in 1 direction. They are a bit snug though. You can soak them in hot water from the tap. That helps expand the tire so they press off easier.
My wife and I just bought two Mini-Z's. She got the standard MR-03 and I got the MR-03 EVO. We are going to build a track in the basement using the Home Depot mats. I'm thinking pool noodles for the "guides" as we are both noobs and I think it will be easier on our cars. I'm thinking tie wraps spaced 6"?? We will see. Nice video, thanks.
thanks brother. youll have a ton of fun with these for sure. i tried the pool noodles. they were a bit bulky for me. they were obstructing my view at times. they definitely were easier on the bodies tho
