Unless his ancestor was from America highly doubtful considering Most of Italy had 0 idea what Pizza was until about 1950, almost 40 years after Italian Americans opened the first restaurant in 1911 in New York.
@manuelbertoja4597 He is the Italian food scholar from Parma University in Italy and considered to be the expert with the education on it lol. So not only is He Italian but he has a degree in these things lol. And uh I'm clearly not a "Bro" an American terminology but a lady.
@@tqueen7131 lady, i don't speak English, i'm not using Google translate, so Just let me call you Bro 😂 Or sis? Do you prefer? The First pizza was made on the and of 1800 for the Regina Margherita, and It become very popular before 1950! It was the most popular plate in South Italy, and After ww2 it arrived in all Italy becoming then an UNESCO patrimony. So, maybe not in all Italy, but It was a very popular plate really before 1950. And with all this story, are you tryng to Say that Americans made pizza popular? Or that they "find out" pizza before Italians theyrself?
@@tqueen7131you idiot pizza margherita was invented for queen margherita in 1889 😂😂😂😂 you Americans invented nothing only have shitty food like fast food and hot dogs maybe that's why you want to claim pizza as yours😂😂😂😂 wtfff not even the name is english everybody knows pizza is italian and now you want to claim it's american😂😂😂😂 that's the most american thingggg hilarious ignorant and obese
i dont get why italians feel the need to act like this. grew up in a very italian part of the US, pizza was great. but i think of costco pizza and frozen pizza as a whole different food than pizzeria pizza. i can still enjoy a frozen pie, its just not the same as an authentic pizza
Anyone who has had the good fortune to eat pizza in Italy before, understands the look on Carlo's face immediately. He was such a good sport, and so polite, trying not to lie. LOL!
@@killiandwCheap and bad is just as untrue as expensive and good, a cheap pizza can still be good or atleast decent enough, that was more like an overloaded toast with tomates and cheese on it than a pizza.
I wish I could feel the original feels of the version of whoever first human beings had those taste but actual from whatever based on history cultures And whatever they call it now 😂
Cant compare american style pizza to italian style pizza. Both taste good but for a guy who grew up eating one its impossible to acknowledge the other as pizza
@@HuyLe-bi6dkAmericans cannot enjoy simple fresh taste, this is the biggest difference. It's not only about pizza, everything in the states feels gross like overdoing everything with huge quantity of everything.
@@agarrikr2996No no he's right. For some reason Italians have the same sickness nowadays. It has become a culture war at this point. The French are snobbish but Italians are also snobbish except they don't like creativity.
He's having trouble because he is used to pizza being a sacred Italian food. However he can't deny that cheap greesy pizza made with extra cheese is just good.thats why it'd have a different rating on different scales.. like as an Italian he can't even call it pizza. But as an American, it's really good junk food
yeah its like not really a comparable dish one is often served cold with fresh herbs and tomato sauce/shredded but americans cook sauce and toppings onto the bread
You all are tripping balls. I've never had anything better in the states when compared to Costco or Sam's club pizza. Not any of the big names, not Joe's pizza, not prince street pizza, none of these garbage pizza establishments beat Costco or Sam's club Pizza

The Italians are so modest I love them. Nice video..
Italy has some of the best food from around the world, truly top notch cuisine. Better than most. If you've ever been to Italy you'd know. Not to mention the country itself prides itself on love and food.
As an Italian, i think he doesn't like it. It's not poisonous, but nothing compared to Italian pizza which is simple. We even got somw pizzas without mozzarella. Abroad cheese is a must and on that slice there's at least 6oz of cheese
I just discovered "From Scratch" a show on Netflix. Your husband's reaction to the pizza reminded me of Lino's first reaction to spaghetti and meatballs. So funny.
The more I watch him the more I say why doesn't everyone go to Italy and find them a husband because he is adorable just adorable and I'm way past on the husband at 57 years old but in my husband ever acted like him life would have been a joy a complete Joy of Discovery and innocence and love I hope he's like this in real life
It’s social media. Everything they post is going to be positive and look great for the cameras 😂 Trust me all you are falling for is an Italian guy looking sad when Americans split pasta in half 😭😭 MAMAA MIAA😂😭😭
