Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf RU-vid channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

I was waiting at the first tee today and a squirrel ran by. Without even thinking, I said “Nature” in my best Jon voice. A guy in the group in front of us turned around and said “I love those guys!” You’re famous in Texas!

I've discovered one of the secrets of Stacked Golf. John's eyesight. When you were walking up the driveway and said "That's a Titleist grip." i couldn't even see the golf clubs. Combine that with an encyclopedic knowledge of clubs and you've got a RU-vid channel. Keep finding it you two.

Got a question. Was the man that was looking at the clubs when you walked up finished looking? Seemed like a case of You snooze You lose. Lol Of course I know that wasn’t the case. I’ve followed the channel long enough to know you two are class acts. You proved that by going back and paying the extra money for the putter. He probably didn’t even realize the mistake. Forged Player’s series were great. The DD(Duval), Elk and maybe CS(strange) had real deal square grooves. The Faxon was ported and the DL3 had a gorgeous shape.

It seems that Ash leaves some shots right probably because she doesn’t quite get the club head back to square. This is why an offset club helps her straighten her shot. The offset gives her a split second to get the face back to square, hence she hits it straight.

Not wanting to mess with your schtick of finding good clubs at unbelievable prices, I am requesting a special edition. I would like to see your channel put together some complete sets, driver to putter, for beginners, high, mid, and low handicappers. It's the one piece to your videos I feel is missing. A bringing together of the miscellaneous into a coherent whole.

Jon. I haven’t played in 15+ years but getting back into it. First few rounds I am about 15 to 20 yards shorter consistently on low and mid irons than I remember. I have a set of ping eye 2’s. Should I upgrade to new technology?

Ping Eye 2s are some of the best irons ever even to this day. Modern ones will be longer but probably not that much better. 👍

Hey there my friends. One idea you might like?! Why not show us the gear you had from the start of your RU-vid carrier to make your videos, editing and whatever, showing the progression up to whatever you use today. (Prices and the reason you swopped to new stuff. ..) As an on and off follower from the time you only had around 1000 subscribers, that would be quite interesting. (Also put the changes into context, when you did it, number of subscribers at the time... Well you get the picture.)
