It was emotional and courageous. I thought I am taking a risk but you took the risk with your whole family, a much bigger one, I am so damm sure that your wife is very strong, without her It won't be possible. A guy with a family never wants to harm their loved once, he would better live in a comfortable position with whatever he is getting, but she accepted it herself and enjoyed that struggle. I assume that in the first month you would have completed all formalities for Bank account, health card, Driving license etc. Not sure what is your professional background but from the message it seems you worked for a good corporate in India. A suggestion from us, owing to our 8 months of experience here- In case you have not been able to find a job till now as per your profile and experience please don't be disheartened. Try to get retail jobs in Costco, walmart etc initially, even if those are on basic wages. That will help you to break even. Do certifications like PMP if not already done. That will really help. All the best :)
