Please continue to upload. I am also enrolled to WGU I start October and I am also in education. I would love to hear what all you gained. I am very excited.
Thank you!! I plan on uploading another one this weekend about my first time using the camera for at home testing! Please subscribe and stay tuned!! Best of luck to you!!
This is great information! I just enrolled in the same program at wgu, haven't started classes yet but hopefully soon, your videos are so detailed and well informed, thank you, looking forward for more! Good luck on your studies!
Thanks for sharing. I'm a little nervous about going to college online. But I'm looking forward to attending WGU. I've been researching WGU all day as well as other online school. So WGU is the school 🏫 for me. Thanks for the videos.
Sibyl Coleman Such a heavenly voice. It is definitely scary but don't be intimidated!! After lots of research I obviously agree. WGU is the best online school as far as flexibility and cost! Best of luck to you!!!
When did they change you from applicant to admitted? I thought I already was because everything else is done but my adviser said they are still waiting on an answer from admissions. Or do I have to wait for Fafsa before I am accepted? Also I'm going for the same thing as you!
Okay so after you do all of the requirements you should have an intake interview. After that interview (with your enrollment counselor) it took me about a week to get officially accepted and admitted. I do not believe your FAFSA will matter at that point. You just won't be able to start Orientation until your FAFSA is completed (pretty sure not 100%) Also keep in mind you are not starting until December 1st so they are probably busy with the applicants for November 1st and making those people priority so don't be worried if it doesn't happen quickly.
Wow! Congrats on your progress! Can you please do a video on how to stay organized/school supplies organization? Also how long did it take you to compete each class (on average)?
Thank you!! Yes, I plan on doing a video about how I organized my binder and all that! They varied between 2 days and 3 months. For the most part though I would say probably about 3-4 weeks per class, realistically. It really depended on the class and how interested I was in the content of that class. Hope this helps!
For your intake interview, it is really basic. Your enrollment counselor basically goes over all of the expectations WGU has (On time progress, Satisfactory academic progress, etc). There may be a few more questions asking why you are choosing to go into that degree program. It was about 45 minutes long and pretty straightforward. I don't do well with interviews at all but this was just a lot of her asking me if I was prepared for a fully online school, if I was sure I would have the time to devote to my studies-- very straight forward. You will do great! Let me know if you have any other questions and let me know how your interview goes! I promise you it is not as bad as it sounds. GOOD LUCK!
I've watched all of your WGU videos, thanks so much for sharing your journey with us :) I saw a RU-vid video by someone else that said that WGU makes you take the readiness test twice? She said she passed it the first time and did the readiness test right after her application and then had to do another readiness test along with her orientation... Was this the case with you or do you know anything about this?
Do you know how your chances of getting a job will be impacted attending WGU for education vs a standard university? I want to do exactly what you’re doing but I’m a bit nervous about what this would look like for me in a job interview!
camille colvin I'd say yes it is hard. It's still a University and this you hold yourself accountable so in some ways I believe it is very hard. But, that is worth it if you need the flexibility and the lower tuitions. This school is definitely not a cake walk by any means.
Always remember to repent of your sins (sin is transgression of YAHUAH The Father In Heaven’s LAW: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy) And Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that you can be forgiven of your sins! HE Loves you! Come to HIM🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
