My Journey to the National Finals Rodeo 

I'm 51 and nowhere near this caliber. I went back to tie down roping from team roping because that's where my heart was at.I started out once again with this with a horse that was 20. She gave me all she had for a year while I learned how to rope the right way. I eventually moved on to a better and younger horse. About 3 days ago I had to sell her due to financial reasons. It crushed me beyond all imagination because she gave me her all. The night I sold her I found this video. It left a huge impact on me because with rodeo, roping or anything else you're promised nothing. What you do with the highs and the lows determines what kind of cowboy or cowgirl you really are.

I was rooting for you every round. You really had a rough NFR. Then you win the 10th round! 😭🙌🏻🙌🏻 keep fighting man! I hope 2023 treats you well. 💕
