I really love your positive attitude. I usually get scared of surgeries and hospitals, but watching your happy-go-lucky vlog alleviated my fears. Thanks for making me smile, and I hope your surgery went well. 😊

So glad your surgery went well. Best step to recovery is being home with your family. No better medicine in the world. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Had an extended right hemicolectomy op in May 2019 The op went very well except of a tiny leak in the osomosis join which led to big complications. But, just like others, I was so positive even though I spent a further 2 months in hospital, the colorectal team told me that it was all gone, it hadn’t metastised and that I didn’t need chemo. Today I am so grateful for every day and what it brings good or bad. I don’t like the word ‘survivor’, I’d rather use ‘Reborn’ The best bit of advise I was given by a former patient was to have lots of Vaseline handy when you DO start ‘Going’ again. Trust me, all that wiping sure takes a toll 😉

You are a delight to watch, thank you. That same hospital will save my life on June 2nd; I will have a partial gastrectomy (partial stomach removal) to rid my stomach cancer. Just remember .. No One Fights Alone. 💜

Great video! So no ostomy bag? I really hate mine. Sometimes I just want to cut it off.😬 if I’m lucky this July I’ll have my reversal surgery.👍Best of luck..

I always sneak and take Gas X with me, which I excuse myself to the restroom, and take with water, right after a colonoscopy. It makes you pass gas faster, and they won’t let you leave until you pass gas. I know that I would try to do the same thing, if I had to have colon surgery.

Hey there! I had an MRI snd CT Scan. If you check out my other videos on this Chanel, I walk you through the whole process from finding the cancer, through my MRI and CT Scan all the way through the surgery. 💕. Good luck! Be sure to watch my colonoscopy video for tips of getting through that messy time too. You will do great. It’s scary but so worth it.

FYI your menstrual periods will be different. There is a process called pooling after you have a right hemicolectomy. So do not panic. It will be strange until your new gut gets used to (6 months).
