I’ve been stalking your channel and watching your videos back to back. They always give me ideas about what to put in my own journal. Thank you for sharing your creative process. It really helps us not-so-creative people ! ❤️
This was so extremely helpful! I really appreciated seeing how much you got out of journaling no matter the type of page; from collages to documentation to journal prompts to lovely decorated pockets. All of your journal pages are wonderful! Thank you so much for giving us these ideas and examples!
I really enjoyed seeing your collection of journals. It's interesting how it takes awhile to figure out what size and style fits you best...and then I suppose it can change as time goes on, too. I am a beginner to junk journaling, and have always made my covers, but I am going to try a TN soon. Thank you for sharing.
This is SO INSPIRING to me. I'm finally collecting a bunch of stuff and want to start, and this shows me how I can combine my random "junk" and ephemera that may not be 100% my style, and really combine it and make it my own. Great work and such beautiful books!
I’ve only watched 1:45 minutes and I already have to say a huge thank you! I am SO drawn to junk journals, but I love to do my “dear diary” stuff in my beloved Leuchtturm, so I’ve been in a turmoil about this for a long time. However, when you said that you used this first junk journal to collect things - poems, stickers, ephemera that spoke to you - I said yes! out loud. That is EXACTLY the answer for me - I don’t have to split my journaling between two books; I write in one and collect in the other! Thank you! Now on to watching the rest of your video! 😊
I love your journals and journaling style. The accordion journal is addictive to make and use. I bought myself a inkdori cover and am anxiously waiting for its arrival. Thank you so much for sharing your art.
Ohhh, I just loved seeing your journals, they were such an inspiration to me. I love the colours you choose and the way you placed everything together so artistically. Thank you for sharing.
What a stunning collection. So hard to choose a favourite from this pile of beauties. Love the use of maps for a cover. I'll watch and pick up some ideas and inspiration 😉💜👍
Aw, loved seeing a poem ‘To Autumn’ 😊🧡🧡 I love all the different bits you manage to collect. Although our styles are different we share a love for pretty papery things, memories, and the joy of gathering it all within pages. 🌸
Thanks for sharing, they are all great, I like the art and collages and I like that I’m not the only one that just leaves pages and moves on. I have a few junk journal I’m working on at the same time but all of them are a works in progress! I’m never finished lol
Thank you so much for sharing these. Must be fun for you to look back through the pages and recall certain times and feelings. I'm impressed that even though you have so many pages and elements tipped in, your journals don't appear to be extremely chunky. Is it because of the soft covers, or do you just start with few very base pages in the beginning?
I love how you've kept your journals and that you're willing to share your crafting growth! I'm new to this type of journaling and a new subbie to you. I like your ideas and I'm collecting ideas from everywhere to put into an idea book. TFS🤗
Such lovely, fun and interesting journals! I wish I had this type of picture of my younger years. You will so enjoy looking back and remembering years from now. Thanks for sharing!
I like seeing the progression of your personal style. From glue book collection of things you like, to travel journal ephemera, to quotes and more writing, and now adding your art work, and a combination of all the styles you have tried. Thank you for sharing.
Your journals are wonderful, each in its own way. I made an accordion journal using your January prompts - my first attempt. Your videos are inspiring and encouraging. Thank you!
I love your creativity! Mai I ask what brand of marking pen do you use that doesn’t bleed through the papers? Also, do you generally try to journal something each day?😃
I've fallen so terribly behind on your RU-vid vids, so I'm literally gonna be watching one each day while I journal myself 🤭 current situation: cutting florals, as that is very megjournals-y
Cheers Meg. It’s this lovely community of creative ppl that inspire and motivate me. Onwards and upwards 👉 PS so very pleased that you are back on YT 🙌
Hey there, from a Statesider! I love what I am seeing. I like the experimentation journals especially, because that's sort of where I am. So many people, at this point, seem to be hyperfocused on the vintage vibe, which is great and all, but I don't always like certain aspects of it, color-wise. ("Sepia toned everything" or "vintage-toned" flowers gets a bit boring, just saying. 😜)I hate feeling corralled in by what's considered popular, or what so many people think should *always* go in such journals. Your channel, so far, is therefore a breath of fresh air. Love it! 😁🙏
Just found you, It's ll/ll/21, so I'm a little late to your party. You and I share the same style. I had all this ephemera tucked away in draws, books and even my grandmothers recipe book. Since I started gluing my favorite things in, of all things, a pretty Martha Stewart magazine, i haven't stopped. It's been so much fun. You do a lovely job...never stop.
Welcome!! I host #junkjournaljanuary and #junkjournaljuly over on my Instagram. The next challenge is just a few weeks away but you can also see past prompt lists if you go to the 'guides' section on my Instagram profile (the icon looks like a booklet)
I love these journals. I just have to tell you that your page with the mountain that says, You will make it over the mountain, is Mount Rundle in my home town of Banff and I have been to the top of it! I always love seeing pictures of home!
I see that on every page you have a great eye for putting things together in a pleasing manner. I am so impressed with your first junk journal...it is clear that you had a vision and a style from the very start. Keep creating. This is all really beautiful work. ❤️🇨🇦
I found your previous flip through thanks and have ordered a gorgeous InkDori pink pocket book size. Can I ask what size junk journal (in cm) you make to fit in? I want to make one ready to go in when it (she?!) arrives home 💕
Ah awesome!! Mine are A6, depending on how chunky your journals end up you may want to trim your insert to be slightly slimmer so minimise any overhang, but the height is perfect.
Tuning in from Iowa. I love the way your journal and randomly glue things in that you like. I also love your painting of flowers. You do a great job. You have given me ideas to do a journaling of small items I have collected and pictures I have taken from magazines and books. I am going to try being creative with it and see how I do. You have beautiful printing. Not everyone can print like that. Thanks for inviting us in to see your various, beautiful journals. I made about 8 journals during the pandemic. Lots of fun.
I loved each second of this video. Your journals are so beautiful and " lived". I still struggle a lot in filling my journals. I Hope my style Will be more " felt" someday.
Thanks so much! I did a longer flip of my current journal here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5DUvDP6TKHk.html and my journals are by GraceAndSaltInk :)
These are some of my favorite journals on RU-vid. I’ve been so uninspired lately it’s been hard to journal but you’re really helping me out. Thank you so much
This was a fascinating tour of your journal journey. I absolutely LOVE each and every journal you walked us thru. I’d love to adopt your style. It’s the most creative I’ve ever seen.
Thank you, have you tried following along with journaling prompts? I am hosting #junkjournaljuly on my Instagram next month which might give you some ideas to get started. :)
Love ALL of these! Will keep this for reference. Love the fact that they are actual "junk" journals, but still SO gorgeous. I admire your quirky style--I don't like the real prissy ones I have seen on a lot of channels. TFS!!!!!!
