@@annac9534 With sunglasses on. Sure, some weirdo or creep can try to look through that but at least she isn't putting her child out there like family vlogs. She had a great channel before her child came and it doesn't revolve around her child and if she never showed her child her channel would continue to be a great channel. Channels who exploit their children should be banned from all social media, imo. Teenagers aren't even fully capable mentally or logically to give informed consent. It will soon all come to a grinding halt. Enjoy your weekend 🌞
In 1978, I began teaching in a daycare center. All the meals and snacks were prepared from scratch and served family style in the classrooms at a long table. Children learned to serve themselves from the platters and bowls; and table manners as well. I still chuckle at the memories of a staff member from the kitchen coming in to check if the babies had really eaten all that food, or if it was the teachers asking for seconds 😂. Actually, it was all of us! It was the same in the public schools when I first transitioned over in 1982; but over the years they switched to prepackaged, highly processed food. Now there's an initiative here in NYC to eliminate the excess sugars, salt, etc. I don't know how they're going to do that without going back to cooking from scratch.
@@Jodie-masterson so true but school in general is sad not enough healthy options for food and one's wellbeing, lack of fun and not allowing children to pursue their interest.also bulling is dismissed and normalized. to many hours of class work not enough of learning about real life such as entrepreneurship morals value's self love traditional family life styles.etc.
I love turmeric lattes! Hmm, I think I’ll make one tonight 😊. Wow! Baby J has grown so much. Her laugh is the best. I love seeing moms in action. Thanks for this video!
I did all this vegan my son at the time he was only 7 yrs old he was still growing he didn't eat the school lunch because I knew it was bad and all process food outside . To make the story short we began vegan unit he was 13 yrs old my son develop lots of health problems through out the yrs after that we did took our vitamins and B12. He was always slim but than he lost more weight and was getting bloated and constipated nausea he didn't grow like he should after . Soy milk is not good. We had no choice but to stop the vegan food. We make well homemade food never ate process food. He looked pale and no energy most of the time I don't fried my food either. After 13 yrs old We had to reverse he's diet back to eating grass fed meat and organic . Now he's feeling better . Just because u become vegan or vegetarian or he meat doesn't mean u would not get sick or cancer or any illness. I no people who were vegan for many many years and still develop cancer. We just do our best . We know for a fact that they put a lot of stuff in our food that's what the food industry is doing unfortunately so many people are getting sick . Too many recalls on food . I respect your videos is everyone choice what diet they prefer but vegan didn't do it for my son he is now 21 yrs old took a long time to get better.
As a fellow vegan mama of two vegan babes thank you SO much for being a healthy example of a plant based parent! It’s tough sometimes when people assume you feed them nothing but processed fake meats and cookies, and the more healthy examples we have like yourself, the more others can see that children can thrive on healthy whole plant foods ❤ I’ve always loved your videos and watching baby J grow!
You shouldn't care what anyyyone says. I'm raising two vegan babys, from birth, now 4 & 6. Just make sure you give him/her lots of different meals(variety of plants & co). Everything is going to be fine!
@@ariasworld9991 their opinion doesn’t bother me much. My concern is their comments that make me think that if they are left with my daughter that they will feed her meat or dairy. I have told them that I won’t tolerate it and if she is left in their care at all I will be packing her meals. Hopefully they respect the boundaries. I love communities like this. It’s so encouraging and supportive
Not sure if you're in Canada but pretty sure it's illegal to feed them meat if you don't want. But I have the same concerns myself. Just know some of us out here think you're courageous.
The soy milk ain't it. Also just use hummus or guacamole instead of the cheeses. You want her to be a healthy plant based eating. Make walnut , heml or Brazil nut milks
I loved this! I’ve been wrecking my brain on how to get my children to enjoy being plant based especially at school. This helped so so much. Also can you share what products you use for makeup? I’m new to plant based and clean makeup is a BIG thing to me but it’s hard to find it.
So lovely to watch darling Baby J grow and thrive under your loving care and vegan guidance! 💚 Many of us were with you in spirit when you gave birth to her in your home, so it's wonderful whenever you share her with us in a safe and respectful way for her. Oh, and of course, these recipes look delicious and healthy! 💚🥬🍃💚
Great video!!! Trying to convince my daughter on how her daughter needs to take a whole food vegan plant based lunch with her!!! She is gaining from the high processed foods from school!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
Yeah I agree, if you go vegan today more mistakes can be made because it's so confused with what to stick to. And heyy baby jay!! 😊 keep that smile cutie 💓 ... Ps I made the Collard greens following your recipe in your cookbook...MANUFEEHK!!! My friend loved them ❤
I would pack my children's lunches for school. I later discovered that the hard work I put into providing them with healthy meals was futile. They were trading grapes for Doritos... I told them you're getting a bad bargain. They were like but how are we supposed to get the snacks we like (crave). These babies!
I'm so overjoyed you mentioned Dr Greger. He is truly a pioneer in the Plant based community. A colleague of his, Dr Brooke Golder is also amazing. I hope I don't sound like I'm over scrutinizing what you're doing but honestly you don't need to add protein powder to your daughter's smoothies. You can actually add red cabbage in order to get that purple color she already likes .So fun! Many ppl (vegans and non vegan) worry too much about protein levels...when in Reality there is plenty in fresh raw vegetables. Heck ,even bananas have protein. Take for example animals like a gorilla or an ox. Totally buff right? All they eat all day are leafy greens.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gQXq68_nWEE.htmlsi=plok7oGwlBbyWur9 Also, there are many politics as to why the school lunch programs has not been modernized. These people are working tirelessly to get this information normalized both in the medical community and in schools. Here's a great talk between some of the pioneers (Dr Greger ,Dr T Colin Campbell and Dr Dean Ornish) about why this keeps happening ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1OZyqGVD1yI.htmlsi=5Zlytru9EQtC00Ev Lastly here's an article about some of the progress being made with school lunches.vegnews.com/2022/8/new-initiatives-vegan-school-lunches vegnews.com/2022/8/new-initiatives-vegan-school-lunchesvegnews.com/2022/8/new-initiatives-vegan-school-lunches
Hahaha, I've been on a long golden milk kick, too, since December. I used to have 2 café lattes daily (homemade), but now I have only one and have golden milk the rest of the day. I sleep like a baby now and it's delicious. I really enjoyed seeing how well you care for your baby girl 🤗💕 Great video. ❤❤❤
Love all of your content! I have been following you for years and I thought that you called your kid baby because it was a nickname. Now she is not very little anymore I understand that it is actually her name. So sweet! English is not my native language. So maybe that's why I presumed this😅 Sending hugs from The Netherlands ❤
I love ginger and turmeric! I don't even take pain meds anymore. If I get sick or have a headache (which happens rarely), I just reach for some type of ginger/turmeric tea or other beverage and it really helps me!
Does the cheese melt and pancakes? Still taste good even by lunchtime? I really appreciate this video. I struggle with lunches for my child. He hates when food gets cold and I haven’t been able to figure out how to keep it warm for him.
In public school we often say, you are better off eating the box that stuff came in :/ Shame on our country for caring so little for our school lunch programs!
Great video, but if you eat the berries without bananas you make full use of their flavonoids. Apparently the enzymes in the banana "neutralize" berry flavonoids.
You are so right to send her to school with lunch. I was a “lunch lady” for many years. I finally left last year. The food is terrible. When I first started that job 29 years ago we had “real” food. It has gotten worse and worse over the years. Now it’s all processed stuff. It’s terrible
Wow, it must depend on the schools. My kids school has way healthier lunches from when I was growing up. I always packed my own lunch growing up. It used to be all caned, frozen highly processed, sugary and it’s so fresh now. I can’t believe it. We live a vegan lifestyle and for that reason I always pack my kids lunches and snacks😏
Hello! Amazing 🙌🏼 I loved everything, from the pasta to the sandwich Good reminder, I often forget to drink tumeric lattes and how cosy and tasty they are 😋
looking forward to your next video! you and your lifestyle really inspire me and i know that i need to transition into eating foods that actually nourish me and will benefit me in the long run. i'm tired of feeling microwaved all the time! lol
I don't have any experience with this & can't offer medical advice. I always encourage consulting a doctor or dermatologist! I have a couple other videos on kid-friendly vegan foods & there are some on my blog, too. I hope you find something that works!
Thank you for this!. I am transitioning myself and family to plant based eating and I have four young children. It is a new journey for me and I have been struggling to find filling and good meals. I made the oat pancakes (had no idea you could make pancakes from rolled oats) and they loved them!. I am feeling inspired and happy on my decsion to change eating habits.
