April 29, 2014 - Some of my collectibles in my Kill Bill collection! Items include 1/6 scale custom figures, Neca 6" and 18" figures, movie programs, prop replicas, miniatures, soundtracks, and other collectibles! :)
Wow! Thats a impressive Kill Bill collection you've got there, Marlo :) Even though thats not all of it, there is some very nice pieces on your table there ;) The sentimental value must be through the roof on these :) Thanks for sharing ;)
Oh yeah, lots of sentimental value with these things..! I wish I could easily find my other Neca figures, but perhaps in a future video. I also have some very old custom 12" figures I made before I really got into the hobby seriously. It would be funny to show those off compared to the stuff I have now. Someday..! :)
They were all over the place back in the day..! I was a nut for Kill Bill, so whatever caught my eye back then I would pick up. I have a big collection of magazines and other things related to Chiaki Kuriyama who played Gogo Yubari too. I was obsessed with her for awhile..! LOL!
LOL..! So glad you enjoyed all of this stuff, Kev! As you can see, I do love Kill Bill! Other than Pulp Fiction, this has to be absolutely my next favorite Tarantino film if not my absolute favorite! I fell in love with the actress who plays Gogo Yubari after this film and you should see my collection on her alone...! Oh boy..!
emarae Do you have video of your Chiaki collection?? I'd like to see that. HUGE Chiaki/Battle Royale fan!! As well as Kill Bill and the eternally beautiful/incredible Meiko Kaji!!! Cool stuff!
Tasken_Lander_Redux That's a good idea! I should do a video one of these days of my Chiaki Kuriyama collection. Most of it is magazine clippings, photos, and books, but it might still prove to be interesting to see.
It'd be cool to see. I have a pretty decent 'Battle Royale' memorabilia collection and I *used to* own a signed pic of Chiaki as "Gogo" (not a reprint), but I lost it in Hurricane Katrina... I so regret not moving the photo from downstairs as I've NEVER seen another signed pic of her's for sale since... =/ Ah, well. Cool videos, though. Subscribed!
Very nice collection. Tarantino is da man! For some odd reason my favorite piece of yours is the lunchbox, it's so wrong and so right at the same time!
LOL..! I agree with you! I love that lunch box and almost had my kids use it for school when they were little, but then I changed my mind as I loved it so much! LOL..!
Cool cool..! Just look up Japan movie program for whatever movie you're in to. I have around 50 programs from various movies that I love or that I picked up during my time abroad living in Japan.
As a fellow collector of all things kill bill, this is awesome. I have many of these collectibles. As this vid was afew years ago, any update to the collection?
I'm sure I've picked up a few random things here and there since this video, but my living situation has changed drastically as well. Moved my family overseas with my collection and ended up having to return to the US by myself to support the family abroad and haven't seen them in well over a year since the pandemic. Some of the last things I remember getting were some Titans Vinyl Figures and there was also a Kotobukiya Bishoujo figure I got that wasn't in this video... Not too much stuff available these days, but I still keep an eye out from time to time.
@@MarlotheCollectorI’m sure you have the Minimates figures?!.. I absolutely adore them, so charming, I thought they did a fantastic job.. I didn’t fancy adding the Kotobukiya model to my collection as it’s not realistic enough for my liking. Same goes for the Funkpops. I’m still yet to buy the Titans figures, they’re pretty cool but I think quite pricey for what they are- like £10+ each here in the UK and think there’s about 16 of them! Sorry to hear your situation, hope you get to see your family real soon.
hey i don’t know if you’d remember because of how long ago you posted but , do you know where you got the oren ishii action figure? i’ve been looking all around online and i can’t find any that are the same size as the beatrix i picked up
It was a limited edition custom figure by Iminime/ Denny Kim. Not many were made and it quickly sold out back then in 2014. Anyways, there may be some resellers posting it on ebay from time to time or maybe some bootleg copies popping up, but as far as getting the one I got, it'll be very tough. Definitely a prized figure in my collection.
Very cool! The only KB stuff I ever got was the SDCC exclusive Tarantino figure. Opened it up of course. Loved that his head came off! But I never used the fake blood that you could pump through his neck. Never bought the films as I'm still hoping that they will release both films combined as one! Did you know they are releasing KB minimates? a crazy 88s 4 pack and a 4 pack box set of the main characters
Yeah, I saw that somewhere. There will also be some Funko Pops vinyl figures coming out too. I never got into those, but I might pick up these as my first Pops figures. We'll see..!
emarae Funko are also the company behind the Reaction figures. I believe you got the Alien line. Now they are releasing a whole load of figures including Jules & Verne. Pulp Fiction....* Yawn! *
Ok Marlo...lol....i'm going to ask you this....are you able to VIEW your collectibles a lot? lol....i mean you have so much how can you enjoy what you can't not see? Curious....
I used to have a better display space for my collection before I got married. It got smaller after that, then even smaller after the kids..! But someday I'll hopefully have the space again, like when the kids move out for college or something..! LOL..! But for now, most of it is packed away and I don't see most of it for a long time, but knowing I have them and that I can get to them when I want is enough for me. It was cool seeing these Kill Bill collectibles again. Now I can see them anytime I wish on RU-vid in this video! LOL!
Oh man, bro..! I can't sell these right now as I also love them and collect Japanese movie programs. You can find them on ebay and even though they originally cost me about $10-$15 each, they typically sell for about double that on ebay.
