Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed my reaction! Here's more (G)I-DLE content I've watched on Patreon → link.cru3ltmo.com/GIDLE Check out all of my other (G)I-DLE (여자)아이들 Reactions on RU-vid here → ru-vid.com/group/PL9-8iXsi1vA5aIVVl5CyAsn7D4SE8iPGz
Thank you for being so fast, I don't think I could've slept well without at least one reaction video haha. I'm gonna stop myself from writing paragraphs about my love for this song and for (G)I-DLE, but I'm just so happy. Anyways, this comment makes no sense but I'm sending lots of love to you and all the nevies ♥ (special mention to our fellow Europeans!)
Ayy, welcome here and thanks for the quick comment :) Feel free to send a paragraph or whole novel in another comment if you feel like it lmfao, I'll read it. Also good night good sir/mam
I remember during Produce 101, Soyeon was really thin and emaciated, I mean she was really thin (probably because she never eats vegetables 🥲), but after she debuted she gained weight that makes her more beautiful, I can see that now Korean netizens don't criticize Soyeon's visuals anymore
I'm curious if I'm alone in this: I love (G)I-DLE, love the concept, love the MV (and the girls never looked more adorable)... but the song itself... at least after a few listens... generic forgettable western indie pop sound (not unlike Allergy with its generic Avril Lavigne pop rock sound). I'm in general not the biggest fan when K-Pop groups release all English tracks just to appeal to a suspected... what... international (?) english speaking audience? In my view: K-Pop became popular (internationally) because its different and not more of the same. So loosing the "Korean" (culture), going all English and making a generic western pop song might sacrifice the very thing, that made K-Pop special (and popular) in the first place. Western countries are already good in making western pop. They don't need "more" of that and its risky to try to imitate it. K-Pop can stay itself and offer something different. So, I'm a bit disappointed in this one especially compared to past releases from them, which is a shame since the MV is amazing, but this song is not for me and what I seek in K-Pop. Maybe it will grow on me. What do you guys think?
The thing is, this is just a "side hustle" for them. They're touring and still (supposedly) going to release a Korean studio album at the end of this year. We don't really lose anything from them releasing this and going into partnership with (G)I-DLE. Well, at least not if won't keep doing English releases and potentially only do them. But I don't think that'd ever happen. At least not with Soyeon being more involved than this time. She's too proud of what she achieved and too sure of what she can do, that she would just decide to chill and not touch producing anymore. I think going for a hailmary tiktok targeted song ain't a fail to me. It might not work, but it won't make them lose anything imo. For me personally, Idk where I stand with this song quite yet. I do like it, but it does seem to require a specific mood
@@Guthwulf11 you could have saved the paragraph and said this track doesn’t work for me because: Instead of writing a paragraph of how you supposedly love them but not this one… and then go into an artsy farts breakdown of why you feel collaborating on an entirely English album will somehow hurt their career.
this mv in my opinion, when you just met someone you dont know.. they are "Alien" to you, their emotional, behavior, knowlegde was new to you. some how you need to learn from them or teach to them to complete each other. and the bad guys appear just like a 3rd person in real life...they disturb, hunt, kill and want you to far appart from your love. the ending, the "Alien" have to sacrifice herself to letgo all the trouble because she dont want you to get hurt. what a beautiful mv.
Based on the music video, they went to earth to look for that logo at the abandoned building in order to activate the orb (based on him and soyeon looking for signal to where it is). It's probably a wormhole to where they are from. In order to save the boy they learned to love they took the special agents with them or probably teleported them away but they probably went to their home planet.
there are so many great songs being released over this weekend and they are just all bop materials. this song 'i do' by (G)I-dle is one of them and will/should do good on charts and views even thought the competition is very high as some of them are big names.
