What is a king without his words to inspire his people? He didnt even have the strength to kill himself... Fate has a twisted way of perpetuating things, and this was just a cruel joke it played. There was probably only two paths left, but to Griffith there was only *one* choice left to be made If only Guts had gotten there sooner maybe he could've put some sense into him
