My Kirby Star Allies Review - Nit-Pick 

I apologize for the fairly poor audio mixing on this one, I messed something up during the recordings and didn't notice until way too late. I tried my best to mitigate it, but it's still very present. Sorry about that.

i'm glad i came across this video! a lot of your points about the gimmicks within the level design itself and how it was designed specifically with the ai's functionality in mind (and not just gameplay) were points i hadn't really considered much before. i enjoyed hearing about some more technical aspects like that! i think your points about the final world make a lot of sense as well, even though i really enjoy the individual levels it does feel very disconnected. makes me wish for a few more levels within jambandra base, or like you suggested, more of a buildup within the world itself rather than primarily in the world before it. i also so strongly agree that this game's storytelling is really well done, i'm very happy to see that acknowledged. lovely review!!

After hearing various people claim that Star Allies is the safest game in the series, this video really helped make me realize that this game is actually much more ambitious than it may seem like at a surface level. Looking closer into it, the developers had to account for quite a lot of functionalities and variables for the CPUs - Star Allies has the most abilities in the entire series, there are many different Friend Actions and Elemental combinations - needless to say, the scope of the game is surprisingly large all things considered. I don't think that the overall reception of Star Allies necessarily went harsher or more lenient, but instead I would say that it became more divisive, with opinions about the game being better/worse than it may initially seem getting louder and more noticeable. It is quite the interesting phenomenon.
