League was really cool for crafting, also too broken for endgame crafts, probably never going core... But the storage problem for corpses was unnecessary, since they could just expand morgue (trading corpses would be a problem) or increase the % for copses mods (less corpses needed for each craft). Idk, I just don't feel that it's fair to make players spend real money to fully utilize the league mechanic
13:56 I almost quit after 3 quads, than a sale came up and I bought 2 more... Im weak Adding coffins to the trade site correctly helped too Also near deterministic 6 T1 crafting was great, it taking me a afternoon to plan, buy, and bury was not. I would prefer if crafting happened in stages instead of all at once
It would have been way better with 3 simple changes of just removing corpse classes “humanoid, demon” adding a loot filter for the corpses so your items don’t get blocked by “reveals a random craft” and instead “20% for an additional item” and making morgue limit infinite
This league was a banger for anyone who likes crafting. Especially in ssf was amazing being able to craft items you would never be able to get normally in ssf.
I've only done a few T17's for giggles essentially. The corpse crafting is okay, super powerful but just amazingly tedious to manage and do. I'm still playing and have only done planned out crafts a couple times, other wise just sold and deleted coffins. Allflames have been fun to use but storage and for them is bad, especially with the specialized locker for them being so small. The economy being skewed because of nerfed farms that I didn't get to participate in was kind of sad, but at the same time I got to buy a mageblood for 110 Div.
Any crafting mechanic that has a very high probability to get the desired outcome per try doesnt get me excited. Hitting a 70% for a perfect item with t1 affixes is really not fun for me. The items you can't craft with Necropolis are some of the most tedious ones, jewels and cluster jewels. I think people enjoyed the mechanic because of the results way more than the process.
I actually really dislike very deterministic crafting. That and T17s being much harder than they were touted was a little bit of a letdown. Hopefully they build well on top of the new foundation they've laid for themselves next league.
the reason this league was dogshit for me is, that once again, GGG has proven themselves, that without 3rd party websites and/or applications, it's close to complete garbage. The stashproblem too, showing that their game is completely bloated with useless garbage. having more than 700 corpses just laying around and not being able to filter them by default, is not good.
Completely agree. On top of that I think they should fire Mark. He destroyed T16 mapping, heist, lab and now betrayal too. Transfigured Gems are a joke, 5 good ones and another 150 useless skills instead of reworking the normal ones and make them viable. Build diversity is a complete joke and T17 didn't help with that issue either
i liked what you could do with the necro crafting system. having a sacrificial garb that was double fractured t1 int t1 suppression and woke orbed was neat. having my fun nerfed repeatedly at the start of the league was pretty lame though.
This is my 5th league now, and unequivocally the worst league I’ve played. By a mile. Also, IMO, T17 maps should ALL be Valdo’s level of difficulty. Making it so you can easily blast them is silly. Being able to roll them with chaos is another dumb idea.
I have enjoyed this leauge quite a bit and I'm still playing (HC trade). I agree with the #1 problem of this league, and that is inventory space for both embers and coffins. We shouldn't have to buy multiple tabs for this stuff. There should have been a locker for both, and it should've been like Heist, where everything is neatly organized. Or something like harvest horticrafting station. Also, placing the coffins into the correct spots should've been closer to Synthesis league than how it was implemeneted in the graveyard, as in, there should have been a separate interface for where you organize the corpses, much like the Sudos Graveyard tool. Outside of that, it really was a 9/10 league.
