You are doing the right thing.,now you don't have the stress of a owner operator..At the end of the day you have to do what's best for you and your family..Good luck with your new company and safe travels
It’s hard out here Man…don’t see this as a failure 😣 it’s just a bump in the road. We’re all in survival mode out here. I hope the treat you well at the new job, blessings to and your family, especially your newest addition. Trucking is a dog eat dog industry…there’s really no fast track, everything is set in place for you to fail and without a true understanding and a strong plan, that bump in the road can take you smooth out. Your a strong Brother ✊🏾 stay in the fight, but keep yours and family as the priority.
Man I had it all done with Mercer, orientation set up, everything like 7 months ago, was at TSH (worst experience ever in trucking career) and the last minute decided to go lease with a steel company, best decision , running local thru Carolinas and VA, making decent money weekly, and most importantly get to see my family every day , is crazy out there for owner op, I know exactly what you going thru brother nothing but respect to you
@@endlessblackbeauty they offer trailer rental which comes in the settlement, and if you do have a trailer a 53 ft is the one to go, they offer insurances, you just have to have your equipment mostly chains and binders
I'm a premature kid, and my wife and I just lost our twins (10 weeks) last month. Congratulations on your new addition and on your clear your mind time (home time).
I get it in the beginning you said one thing very important numbers don’t lie paraphrasing another words timing is everything wish you the best of luck. I drive 57 here at Mercer. I laugh all the way up the mountain because I got the power it cost many years, but I made it. See you out there one of these days. Stay safe.
Brother you definitely have made the right decision especially with a family. I have done fifty years over the road twenty five years in each . The only difference between o/o and company is freedom when things are good as an o/o you work when you want and more home time. That time is spent on the road away spending money to eat waiting. My friend enjoy your family while they are growing not trying to make up lost time, children are only small once. Take care God Bless .
Bro keep yo head up. In hindsight you should had stayed with SNI until rates changed. You have to learned the system. It usually take years to learn the system. We all are suffering out here. No company is doing n better than the other. Just about every company is running on there reserve money that they saved. Stay with one company until things start to turnaround. Down time and job hoping will kill your finances. Remember slow money is better than no money.
Do you really think they are going to scrap those take offs. If they were good enough to pass their rigid inspections, why all of a sudden do you magically need all 8 new tires? You should have stayed there in their great facility until you were 100 percent settled up. No one is going look out for your bottom line and well being but you. Bill@@Againsttheworldlogistics
