In today’s video I’m going to take you thrifting into Goodwill. I will show you some fun and interesting things I saw while thrifting as well as a small haul at the end of the video. I hope this video gives you some "Thrifting Inspiration”! :)

There are beautiful, unique and inexpensive second hand treasures just waiting for you. These items can be found at your local goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores in your area. Thrifting can be a challenge but very rewarding and worth the hunt! Some of my favorite things to thrift for are home décor items, name brand clothing, vintage items and anything unique or handmade!

Love the pink dinnerware. I also liked the handmade pottery cups. My son-in-law is a potter and at one time he was really into making a lot of original pieces. FYI he was very good, but he has no time to do it now. I have a some one-of-a-kind pieces I am very proud of . Anyway enough rambling; thanks for sharing you thrifting trips. Stay safe!!!

I really enjoy your thrifting videos and seeing how you use the items you purchased in your home all cleaned up. I particularly enjoy the videos that have more gentle calmer music in the background like your videos made in 2020/2021/2022. It’s very relaxing and interesting. Some of your earlier videos had louder, less calm music which isn’t my personal preference only because it’s not as relaxing to watch. You have inspired me to do thrifting and give me home decor ideas. You are so amazing taking on diy projects, I am too scared to even try. I have no experience with that type of thing but you definitely made me want to try. Sometimes I don’t see your vision until you put it all together or make cosmetic changes and it works. I now eat huge portobello mushroom steaks. 👍 I always hated the aftertaste of coffee.. And now I drink about 3 cups a day. 🤣

You mentioned a video focused on donations you were putting aside. I think this would be interesting. There are so many captivating things that one can pick up while thrifting and which can accumulate after a while and clutter a home as more finds are added. I am wondering if SOME of the things you buy and use for a time are later donated back so new favourites can be brought in. If this is the case, these items could, in a sense, be considered "rented" during their time of enjoyment.😁

Loved the jewelry box. I have one that looks like a log with a tree branch attached. There is an Amish guy in Missouri that makes them from cedar trees. It has several drawers cut out of the front of it.

Oh Jessica, be still my heart...pink!! The dishes are gorgeous! I really thought you woyld have gotten the green sherbert glasses. Lol...the mushroom coffee mug!! I thought tge pottery coffee mugs were going home with you!! Yes, that purse would have been fabulous. Maybe it will still be there. I would live yo see some DIYs, gardening, cooking videos!!! Very wise Jessica .. All our thrift stores in the uk are closed we have to self isolate for three months . The food stores are open but we have to keep six feet distance they are only allowing one person at a time through I have been wearing gloves. All other stores are closed, gyms , restaurants. Clubs ,cinemas, we are only allowed to walk our dogs with one other family member. The police are stopping people in cars to ask where they are going . They have the power to fine you . I saw that pink depression glass set and my eyes went 😱, I went on my first Goodwill trip for this year looking for pink pieces to compliment my new table scape and could not find one single piece, sorry Jessica but that was just too much for me, my heart went oh no Lol, however seeing Peanut 🤗 made me smile, after I saw the glass my mind went blank I don't remember too much of anything else regarding the trip, stay safe, your diy projects and your unboxing videos will be great

Hey that sounds good I would like to see some of your videos of your q And what you're doing to the goodwill Head and do that I also like that you're trying to decorate your home and you're not selling us and everything cause I like to get ideas I am me decorated my home too I don't have much I live in hot housing project so I can't do a lot my walls but I can least decorate my tables or my nightstands instead so I'm enjoying it thank you very much

When I was a little girl complaining about something my Dad would always call me “Poor Pitiful Pearl”. I still use that expression on occasion. :) The doll was based on a character that was featured in cartoons in The New Yorker Magazine in the late fifties.
