Hey bro the RDR2 video was the only reason I watched this channel but I think we shouldn't ask for a part two just because if he wants to change the channel format let him do it I also wanted the video but let him do what he needs to do
Dude I am so excited for this! I've always watched you and looked up to you as a content creator and as a regular dude and can definitely relate to your desire to make what you want instead of what you think would be best for the RU-vid game and it makes me so happy to see you're not just throwing in the towel. Excited to see what the future has for you bro!
I came years ago for the adventures! I think I found the tree climbing video, and then I stayed because you lads always seemed like you were having so much fun together. I love the 20-something sleep on the side of the road, find fun in the everyday stuff vibes. Just very different from the older RU-vid ‘2 nights in a 100k/night Vegas room’ type stuff. Super excited for more just life stuff again!
As a gamer, I'm just interested in watching where my favorite games took inspiration from. I really loved your videos where you compare because through you I got to experience a few where I can't experience them myself in person. Thanks for the few videos you made and it's understandable you don't enjoy making them. Thank you nonetheless for making the ones you did.
I found your videos via the RDR in real life video, but it was your infectious personality and zest for life and adventure that got me hooked. Can’t wait to see what comes next.
I hate finding new youtubers I like bc of there content then they just quit all the sudden right when I subscribe 😂😂 welp so much for seeing more in real life videos. Really liked the read dead redemption 2 one
I will miss the apple wall paper recreation videos since that is what originally got me hooked to this channel, but your short preview of a video you seem passionate about has interested me so I look forward to what new content you will release. :)
Honestly I’m so excited to see the videos on the new channel! I first came to this channel from the Apple Wallpaper series but the last few story driven videos would honestly be some of my favorites on the channel. So great to hear you rejecting the constantly retention hungry trend on RU-vid!
I loved your travel videos and the times where you were just goofing around having fun. I’m not a video game person myself, so I’m excited to see this new channel!
I love the videos on your new channel! But PLEASE don’t stop the Apple wallpaper series! I learned to improve my English skills with them! Greets from Germany
Imagine having over 222,000 Subscribers and videos with millions of views featuring authentic experiences from gaming, with beautiful documentary quality footage, just to confess to your subscriber base that you're a gaming fraud and would rather make videos about tricking your friends you have a twin.
Loved the old content and would‘ve liked to collaborate on another game video, but I’m happy you made the decision to start over with the kind of content you ACTUALLY want to do… See you on the other side, bro! 💛
I personally don't like it when channels split. It means the RU-vidrs split their personality. They have one channel that shows things they like and one that shows things they bend themselves around what appeals to as many viewers as possible. I liked the tree and did not like the rented sign. You could split that channel again into "serious" experience and comedy. Or you could have just kept everything in one channel. Why do RU-vidrs always have to make it easy for those who are not able to close a video they notice after the first minute they actually don't like. It happened on this channel, it will happen on the new channel, all I now have is two channels from the same person that mess up my subscription list. Because I know already I don't want to miss anything that eventually will be posted here. And I don't want to miss at least one out of three videos on the new channel. So what is the thing about the new channel? For the viewers it does not change anything beside the number of channels subscribed. And you are not the first one to do this unneccessary step to split their content in half for some stupid reason related to some viewers not being able to decide for themselves. You should have one channel and post there whatever you like. Viewers will come and go with the content. RU-vidrs need more of an "I do what I like and if people like it, it is nice. If not - so what..." attitude. Unfortunately these are rare and it seems it is not a "doing wrong content" trap but a "doing content for a living" trap. The moment that has happened it is probably too late anyways. The best RU-vid content is made by people who don't need to make any RU-vid content, Because they earn money on their regular job and don't need RU-vid money. And that is what really sparks creativity and passion. Not having to do but wanting to do.
This is understandable, I tried once (not as hard as you tho). I was once making video game channel because how much I love gaming, I've been gaming nonstop since I was 7 years old (that was 25 years ago!). Turns out it's not working because I was too focused on making youtube video and just not enjoying video games anymore (editing video took longer than I realize than just playing the game I like). Instead, I let it go, let hobby just be a hobby and getting money somewhere else. RU-vid algorithm make me found your video today and it's so relatable.
I’ve enjoyed all your videos, but my favourites were the Travel ones, the amount of effort that went into the editing looked really professional and to see what you got up to with your friends along the journey was really fun. Good luck with your new channel.
I subscribed to your new channel (997th) … I really enjoyed your Apple wallpaper vids because I’m a CA lover ❤. Especially the Redwood’s one (I am going to Brookings someday 😊) Looking forward to your new content ✌️
Bold Move! I'll be honest I came here looking for more like the RDR2 real life, but I am totally open to checking out your new stuff. best of luck and stay true to yourself!
I love EVERYTHING you have made, old and new. I love that you're following your passion, and I'm subbing to the new channel RIGHT NOW. Make what you love!
I always love your videos. Specially the travel ones. Regardless if you are recreating gaming in real life or making your own Mac wallpapers. I was actually waiting for you to recreate the Sonoma OS screensavers. I will follow you on your new channel.
I found you because of RDR2 IRL, but stayed because of all the other wacky adventures, so have subbed the new channel and can't wait to see more there!
We're happy to know that you're moving to what you are happy with :). I enjoyed your content and I hope you got the most out of it, thank you for your service on this channel and I hope that you will be successful in fulfilling your dreams after moving on.
I get the whole idea of delivering content that the algorithm craves, but I’d still say that you were fairly unique in the core concept of your osx wallpaper videos. I.E. a bunch of friends who roadtrips and takes photos. There are lots of loner photographers who does instructional videos, but very few who captures that buddy element. Peter McKinnon does it somewhat even though his “friends” rather seems like a bunch of simpy sycophants. I didnt get that feeling at all with you guys. If you start doing click baity / quirky prank videos, you’ll likely rake in the views, but how much of a lasting impression will you leave? Ask yourself this, do you think people watch Top gear because of the car reviews or because of the chemistry of a bunch of mates that does awesome stuff? :)
you genuinely should have just posted them on this channel. you would have recouped an audience for the content you want to make instead of worry about the content you made previously. i like seeing channel rebrand themselves over time and you just took the worst route by just making a new channel instead lol good luck
I just finished watching your latest video on your new channel and I loved it! I am definitely subscribing to it. The new channel is criminally underrated and I am sure it will grow. Keep up the great work!
if you ever decide to recreate wall paper again you should try to create the windows lock screen photos but I totally understand if you don't want to do that stuff anymore
Just about every video you made so far I enjoyed your Apple wallpaper videos is how I found you which I thought was awesome the way you made those btw apple does have a real life Sonoma wallpaper for Mac OS Sonoma just saying.
Do the content that makes you happy 👊🏿💜. And I don't say that as just a cliché. I find that a lot of creators get too caught up trying to play the algorithm games (which is a necessary evil) so they end up getting lost in it and losing what made them passionate about making videos in the first place.
Looks like that pivot might not have been the best idea. You could've been uploaded that stuff here. Some might've stayed, some might've left, but you'd have an audience to show to.
I don’t know how to run a bigger RU-vid channel, but, I don’t see why you’d not just upload the new videos here. You can still make videos you want to make even if people subscribed for a style you want to move away from. Let them decide if they want to stay or leave. Unless the proportion of subs/views was making you feel bad. Whatever feels best for you goes. That’s what matters. I subscribed to the new channel. You make good videos and I want to see them!
