Extremely grateful for this incredibly valuable information. I'm very much interested in trying the medicine. Would it be possible to know more about the offerings?
When you said that 5 meo has 40 years of history that's not true Watch a ancient documentary called " Epena " which is a snuff resin from a bark of Amazonian And search there are old ethnological papers of this snuff and others plants containing 5 meo.
Snuffs are a maybe, and I wasn't speaking to that specifically. Recent analysis of many of the snuffs being used in that region reveal no 5-MeO-DMT actually, but rather Bufotenine. Either way, you're right that there are plants that contain small amounts of 5-MeO-DMT that could certainly of been used in various ways. None have high enough concentration for full release dose similar to modern use, which is what i was referring to.
@@steve_rio i understand but partially right Again they use bark from virolla theodora since centuries they contain substancial amount of 5 meo dmt , They have made classification of plants that contain either 5 meo dmt either 5 HO dmt (bufotenine) ,5 nndmt or harmaline ,or a mix. The bufotenine snuff is not the same region .
What are your thoughts on toad depicted art and illustrations from ancient civilizations showing many ancient civilizations were utilizing this toad medicine. Dr. Octavio has talks on it. Seems this was rediscovered in the 80’s but does potentially have a long history of use dating far back?
As far as any research has uncovered, Dr Octavio was not accurate, likely intentionally misleading to serve his own agenda. There is no known historical use of Bufo or 5-MeO-DMT. The New York Times article on Dr Octavio does a good job of exposing more of his true character. There are lots of details they didn't know as well, such as the multiple reported deaths under his care.
That is not true! There is a lineage! The tribes in Mexico extracted this from toads before t was made synthetically. When you turn 13 this is your right of passage. Please honor the tradition
