You are so overtly intelligent and it stands out even when you're talking to other people (I discovered you through another youtuber but I won't mention to be polite). I was in awe of how well you carried yourself and after hearing your journey I was in awe even more. A lot of idols can seem a bit vapid which isn't unreasonable because the career requires them to sing and dance and appeal to people, not be educated or learned. But you come off like someone who is genuinely intelligent, curious, thoughtful, grounded. That is so rare in the industry and I think you can add to it. Hwaiting! If anyone can get into HYS its definitely you! You are so inspiring, you've gone through so much but you're still passionate, focused, and driven.

I’m in 2L and currently in the middle of finals week feeling burnt out and discouraged, but I loved hearing your plans and hopes to get in the field! You made me feel “fresh” again because I got to recall why I like it here and why I’m staying. Congrats! I went through a similar journey, going to law school after about 8 years of working in another industry. It takes a lot of courage but I think all your experience will definitely help you through both school and practice.

Law School sounds so challenging but engaging! Of course I only hear existential dread and regret from law students BUT the study and application of law can be really compelling depending on how it is presented,I like watching Emily D Baker’s channel on covering popular or notable cases in america and shes a very good teacher. If law school had ppl like her maybe I’d go. So glad you’re talking about this Gina, best of luck!

it’s never too late to start anything. your words from a past video that if you think that you do not fit the ‘standard’ then it’s not for you bc there is no standard! This step is especially important, and I learned a lot from your thought process. I hope you enjoy this journey!

As someone who has graduated law school and about to write the bar exam on Monday, if I had any kind of advice it would be to always keep in mind the ultimate reason(s) why you want to graduate law school/practice law. Motivation was/is my biggest struggle when it comes to law school/the bar, but thinking about the end goal is what keeps me on track. The fact that you already know the field you wanna practice in also a great asset because it shapes your law school journey. However, it gets kind of hard to be motivated to study for mandatory classes when you know you have no interest in these fields; which is why having your end goal in mind is important in those moments. Law school is hard and it sucks at times (a LOT), but from watching this video I have absolutely no doubt that you will succeed!! Back to studying I go hahaha

I also work in the Tourism industry and graduated with Bachelor of Tourism Managment... this pandemic has been making me think so much about my carrier, my dreams and the future of the tourism industry. I'm lucky enough to work for the Korean gouvernement as a public civil servant in Sunchang, doing tours and youtube travel videos promoting the city, but i also take a lot of time self-reflecting on my next steps and future plan ... Your way of living life is truly inspiring and i love to hear your new goals, your process of thinking and the hard work you are putting in to reach your goals and dream. 작가님의 로스쿨 도전기의 도입부 얘기만 들었을뿐인데 제 심장이 벌써 펄떡거려요. 2001년 작가님의 첫번째 도전부터 지금까지 꾸준히 이뤄내신 멋진 결과물들이 절대 그냥 이뤄진게 아니라는 것을 알기에 매번 신기하고 감사하고 큰 자극이 되었던 것 같아요. 작가님이라면 세상 어디서든 멋진일을 하고 계실거라는 생각, 늘 변함없답니다! 이번에도 너무 멋졌어요 작가님🙈 무물에서도 얘기했지만 저는 늘 커다란 벽을 앞에 두고 달리기를 하는 기분이었어요. 이번 벽을 넘으면 또 다른 벽이 생기고, 근데 어느 순간 그 벽을 핑계로 제가 불평을 하고 있다는 걸 알게 된 후론 더이상 그 벽을 탓하지 않으려 애쓰고 있어요. 사실 저는 제가 하고자 하는 일을 하기에는 이제 세상의 시선이 두려운 나이가 된 것만 같아 매일 울기도 했고 불안함에 겁쟁이가 되었어요. 여전히 저에겐 악조건이 많습니다. 하지만 분명한건 작가님을 통해 저는 엄청난 영감과 용기를 얻으면서 매일을 보내고 있다는 것, 그리고 나를 해치지 않으면서 최상의 결과를 위해 노력할 준비가 되었다는 것. 잠이 오지 않을만큼 나를 즐겁게 해주는 일이 있다는 것. 완벽하죠! 이제 또 다시 달려보려고요. 제가 가진 여러가지 악조건을 극복하기 위해 다른 방법들을 열심히 찾고 연구하는 중입니다. 앞으로 저는 법의학을 공부해 세계 곳곳에 멈춰있는 시간을 풀어가는 법의관이 될거에요. 나중에 세상 어디에선가 작가님과 조우하는 그날까지 각자의 자리에서 화이팅해요♥️ 그날 남겨주신 답글 보고 두시간을 펑펑 울었어요. 누구에게도 이해받지 못했던 제 무모한 도전을 이해하고 따뜻하게 받아주셔서 정말로 감사드립니다. 처음 작가님을 알게 되었던 그 날처럼, 앞으로도 변함없이 응원할게요. 새로운 출발을 진심으로 응원하고 감사하고 사랑해요🦋

Woah! Good luck in your new journey! I don't know why but it remind me of Legally Blond haha. Covid messed up with my plans too... I was so scared to be too "old" (late twenties) to go back to school to find a new type of job but I just enrolled in a 1-year program in coding to start a new chapter and I'm so happy I did it. Watching your video just made me realized it's never too late to consider a new phase in your life and to follow your dreams :D (I'm so sorry I barely comment on your videos but please know that I'm actually watching all of them, also, golf is overated anyway).

Suddenly I got "heart attack" after reading your YT titles. It reminded me of your cousin's recent drama "Law School" on Netflix. Then, it was real that you went to Law School! You are really passionate person to do what you like. I hope you always enjoy Law (especially about Entertainment law, as you hve mentioned you want to learn more abt it)! When you said "Entertainment Law" I just knew this would be where you'd want to go, having been on the other side of it yourself. I hope you become a champion for all the deceived and mistreated peers and trainees. Also looking forward to having "The Summer Girl in your area", or at least in America. You should have a "fan meeting" to fund your law degree.

주변 여행작가 동료들이 하나둘 새 길을 찾아가는 걸 보았어요. 누군가는 가업을 잇고 누군가는 번역을 하고... 씁쓸했지요. 여행작가 일을 막 시작했을 때 코로나가 터졌는데, 취재까지 다녀온 미발간 책이 4권이라 개인적으로 손해도 많았고 ㅠㅠ 지금은 다른 일로 바쁘게 살면서 뒤돌아볼 여유도 없지만, 그래도 여행작가라는 직함이 주는 이미지가 참 좋았던 것 같아요. 작가님은 새 도전 응원할게요! 그동안 거쳐온 여러 경험이 분명 큰 도움이 될거라고 생각해요.

지나님~ 그 옛날 수내중 선배(?)입니다 ㅎ 지나님은 저나 제 친구들을 모르시겠지만, 워낙 지나님이 그때부터 유명하셨어서 저희는 다 기억해요! 당시에 지나님이 유승준씨 좋아하셔서 제 친구랑 같이 수내역 롯데백화점?에 유승준 보러 가고 했던 게 기억납니다 ㅋ 여튼 아이돌 준비하시던 때부터 여행작가로 멋지게 변신하신거(예전에 서점에서 여행 책을 읽다가 작가가 지나님이길래 정말 깜놀!) 다 지켜봐왔어용. 그러는 동안 저나 친구들도 직장인으로 10년 넘게 살아왔네요. 동년배로서, 멀리서 맘으로 응원하며 살아왔는데 이번 로스쿨 도전 소식도 넘 반갑고, 더더욱 응원하게 되네요! 예전에도 지금도 충분히 멋진 지나님인데, 앞으로의 모습은 더더더 기대가 됩니다~ 늘 응원합니다!!! :)

I'm currently a 1L (in the middle of my first ever law school finals and ~struggling~). As a long time follower, it's really exciting to hear you going on this journey. Obviously I'm not in the best place to give advice on law school itself lol but something that really got me through the whole LSAT process was reminding myself about my goals every day. What I want to do isn't really possible without the law degree, and the first step of that was just getting in the door (I also wanted a reason to leave my old job). Also, while you might not be pursuing an MBA, a lot of American law schools have business law programs that you can apply for that focus more on the legal side of business while also teaching the important parts of business functions. My school calls it a mini-MBA lol. Good luck!
