That's a good one - I've managed to remember that stalaGmites grow out of the Ground, from which point I can figure out the other one. Don't know if I'd ever heard that they hold "tight" to the ceiling though! Cool.
I've always remembered it because in stalagmite the "might" always made me think "rise up" lol maybe a weird way to remember but it worked for me. I like this better though.
I found that the savage country store has a good amount of legendary parts if you loot all the clothes piles and shelves. Little tip if anyone finds the store and is looking for legendary parts!
I don't think you noticed but when you reset the CrackaHQ one of the original basement bikers was in the POI next door, still alive, but missing his arms and legs. He was only moving his head. I noticed him when you hopped up on the fence before everyone started pouring out of the building. I think it happened at 15:15, you see him again a couple seconds later when they are breaking into the poi next door. When you come back and say "who else is screaming over here" at 18:34 it's the armless legless biker. All the other bodies have disappeared except him.
Good luck finding more savage country stores. I've found approximately one in the 12 cities/towns I've searched. I have had lots of luck finding legendary parts in the lower half of those tall, tan-ish cabinets that the zombies love to hide in inside houses. Those and the nightstands. For my first T4 quest reward, I got a level 3 impact Driver which was a huge step up from the level 1 wrench I was using and couldn’t craft above a level 3 wrench. But I also had 3 ranks in Daring Adventurer.
Nah this is believable, ive pulled a few from lower tier pois not in the wasteland. Lucky looter, rogue hood, and treasure hunter goggles while checking EVERYTHING. You'll find em.
To be fair. The few times he gets stunned are when the enemy hits him only once. From what I'm hearing from his videos, the chances of getting critical injuries are only supposed to be noticeable after getting hit multiple times in quick succession. With high critical resistance, I could kind of understand that frustration of getting critical injuries so quickly with such low odds.
Glock9 found a couple of Legendary parts in the new Level 5 7 Days Apartment Block. But it has a ton of clothes on shelves and on the floor. I don't think he found any in the End Loot.
I found a legendary part in the loot crate in the Crack a Book HQ during a T6 quest today. The chance is there but it was in the Wasteland and my gamestage is there over 300, so I assume it's either very lategame loot or the chance is generally very low.
Seems they are findable in just about any container, though some probably have higher chance than others. I picked up a couple early on in a playthrough from a random dumpster in the forest biome as an example. I know a friend and I came out with a few from a run through a savage country as well, I'm pretty sure they were off the shelves and not the end loot there as well.
@@tremas3329 All "trash" containers can contain almost everything, it's just not very likely. Most of them have only resources and if you hit the very rare chance for something special, it may as well be something completely useless for you, like your 10th antibiotic or a part for a vehicle you already own. For legendary parts the "cloth" containers are really the best. There is a loot bonus in high level POIs, so running these has an advantage. But you need to go through all the rooms and search for these containers. Sniping the end loot only is not efficient - that has too many possible "good" items in the loot table, if you need something that specific - good luck...
It’s fun to see the different play styles of you and Tem over at GNS with the caverns poi since you’re each doing different armor sets Also your sarcasm/sass/dry ass humor is amazing and makes my day better
31:27 on the left is where I'm doing horde nights from. Jacobs residence. Just did day 49. The floors are booby trapped and when you get up to the attic you have a hole all the way down to the ground floor you can drop grenades down. Just have to knock out the stairs and a trellis outside. I replace about 10 blocks each time with cobblestone blocks. They don't even come close to knocking the building down.
Can confirm level 6 weapons lootable in the wild. M60 was picked up by a buddy in our playthrough from an Airdrop. He had max Lucky Looter, Scavenger set, etc. Not sure still if that was an oversight/fluke/etc by TFP's, as its the only thing of that level we have found.
the problem with this guy is he day 20 and already have full stuff... he want to speed run the game. Min max or meta ... he is good at it , but not my playstyle. i dont have any problem like u say i have plenty legend part when i need them . But by day 19 trying to fin 5-6 legend part per peices of armor ... he sound like he should be top gear at day 25 ...
I don't rush to the next biome just because the trader gave me the special job. So I'm still in the forest with around 13 legendary parts. I'm trying to X off every poi in my starter town before moving on, but that's me and I loot everything. I'll jump off the bike to loot trash and nests.
@@courmax6125 He's speed running (ish) so he doesn't stop to loot everything. He takes what he needs when he needs it. In a straight run-through you'll have more parts.
I stumbled across that mine POI for the first time yesterday, it was pretty cool. Also, starting with tier 3 quests I really started finding more legendary parts.
I found a legendary at the Judie Witch poi, off to the side is a small shed of hay where a backpack also was. No one was more surprised than I was. Tier 3 job
Try looting a residential area and just do the second floors or where the bedrooms are. Just about every bedroom has stuff that might hold legendary parts. Or an apartment, condo, motel or hotel. You might get more chances by doing easy two story residential homes over searching around for clothing stores.
First mission: Arrives, starts the mission. "Oh, just zombies right out the gate, at the front." Those zombies, as you call them, are your customers and your paycheck. What were you expecting to find at an underground tourist attraction? Just do your job and make sure you wet the mops before you use them.
I know that this series just ended due to unfortunate events with updating, but I'm not there in the series yet and I'm going to comment this while I'm thinking about it. I pulled two legendary parts from coffins in the POI called the crypts yesterday, so apparently coffins can be good containers for hunting them down
Wondering if you ran into the progression cap yet? I believe the game caps you at 10 points per day but not sure. I did 2 tier 3s and one tier 4 and got the progression cap icon which means no more progression is available until midnight rolls over.
Try digging some graves. I got 4 Legendary parts at the graveyard. The one with the under ground crypt. And I got 2 at the smaller graveyard. Big fam BTW.
I cant remember if I had legendary parts in tier 5s but it seems to be a guarantee in tier 6 rewards. as fat as level 6 items yes I have got them in end loot in tier 6. but it seems to be kinda rare. I completed tier 6 in my run and a few more after and have only gotten like 2 or 3 level 6 weapons.
They need to seriously rebalance the legendary parts. I would have them remove legendary from clothing loot and increase armor parts slightly. They should add or increase the T5 location end loot or quest rewards. It would give you a reason to slog through the larger T5 POI. It would also stretch out the game more. I found 6-7 legendary parts in one Savage Country (Wasteland pretty high loot stage).

The quest reward nerd has gone a bit too far, i get not giving you weapons but at least a stack of ammo for teir 4 or 5s would make nore sense than some of the rewards 😅
