he deserves it. Me and my brother was talking and he mentioned that some people are ranked to low to even be considered for such a prestigious award because the higher ranking officers literally get jealous and whoever puts you in for said award has to be high ranking themselves and be so persistent.
@@theown32 lol that's not how it works man. The moh has a process and has nothing to do with rank or jealousy. There are already men who were awarded in recent conflicts with the rank of E-1 and E-2. The problem is a lot of the higher ranks don't have the experience with this process since it hasn't been done in decades and with there little to no combat experience they really don't know what constitutes a moh that's why some guys are getting silver stars or other medals when it should be the moh. In time though with a review process men will get the awards they are due. Look at sergeant bellavia who was recently awarded the moh after 10 years, he received a lesser medal and was upgraded to moh.
@@scoogger44 he was on fire, on the back of a vehicle that was on fire, still shooting his 50 caliber! and still protecting those who were trying to rescue him! After jumping to the ground, and breaking both legs, he was still shooting! THEN! After being put out with a fire extinguisher, and put into the front vehicle, unable to see. He guided a newby, who had just gotten into the country, had no idea where he was or how to drive out! Saving EVERYONE in the following trucks! Dmn! What's a guy got to do, in your eyes, to qualify?
I am a US Army Combat Engineer/Sapper Veteran of six years with nine months in the first Gulf War and the recipient of two bronze stars. I will never measure up to what you have become and what you represent. Thank you brother for all you do. You make us all proud
I actually got a bit teary eyed. Man Crispy I can't ever show you how grateful I am that you sacrificed so very much for this great country and all of us. Thank you 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@philhimself no he wants to deport mexicans the "killers and rapist" stereotype applies to literally 0% of the population imprisoned, separated from their kids, and forcefully sterilized in Florida(they can never breed again because surgery was done against their will to make sure of it)
@@philhimself the criminals and gangsters never get imprisoned by ICE they get deported and cross right back over the border to come back we're only catching the innocent families fleeing a cartel war zone, the criminals have these people paid off to not even pick them up the mexican govt itself had to seek approval from the cartel to run a presidential campaign, the cartels also run the military los zetas was actually trained by american special forces at ft bragg and now that's what they teach to cartel soldiers to kill in their war for drug profits

I am with you brother. My son too. Imagine, a father and a son in the crap at the same time, Texans. Both my son and I are disabled. My deal is my spine, from a crashing helicopter. My son, from a Bradley hit, his left leg. Both of us, professional leg infantry, US Army. I have Texas lineage to the Cavalry in Texas fighting the tribes. Never quit. Never give up. Never surrender. Our job now is to ASSIST those vets that need us. My mantra is no more suicides. If we do not help them, nobody will. We are brothers, warriors, Americans. Help your brother in arms.
Self-sacrifice is just so much greater than modern post-camera vain self-obsession. You got some solid parenting growing up, hermano. Que Dios the vendiga!
As an American and also an American who's heratage comes from Mexico this man is an inspiration not just to me but to all Americans and I am great full for men like him to be examples to our future generations and I stand by him to fight to make every American the best version he or she can be .
This Hero should be awarded The Medal Of Honer. May your life mission continue and do the best you can each down - your a metaphor of that. and alot of words cannot even describe what you have been through with shows in this story.
Bro, much respect! I too am an amputee,LBK. I was shot by a 12gauge when I was 17. I’ve been an amputee 20 years now! Everyday is challenge but super rewarding. I relate to you so much, I grew up on the border too, Douglas Az . I would have been military bound if it hadn’t been for losing my. You are an inspiration, your physical toughness is bad a$$ but your mental toughness is more astonishing! Keep pushing brother! God bless you! You are a true hero and the epitome of being Mexican/American. Vales Mil
For the past few weeks I've been nervous as hell about retaking my asvab and getting ready to go to marine corp recruit training but after watching this it has reminded me that life has its trials and tribulations and it depends on us and our will power to overcome them and i must be strong and learn to not give up no matter how much it hurts thank you crispy you are a huge inspiration to me and countless other people
I'm leaving late next month bro! Going Army infantry with an option 40 to hopefully be a Ranger in the future. Good luck and study your ass off for that test!
Gabe O Good job! In my day there wasn’t any option 40 (whatever that is) we just told the recruiter and if you passed everything that was required (Ranger School and if your Command ok’ed for the Green Berets and passed you were good to go) you were in. Now it’s All kinds of college type tests... In any case if you are fit and have your head on right you will make it, just don’t stop doing you can kill it!
@@Lee784447 Thanks bro! An option 40 contract just garauntees you a spot in RASP "Ranger Assesment Selection Program" after basic training. That's all! There gonna have to kick me out, because I'm damn sure not quitting.... Thank you for you're service though man! 🇺🇸 I hope all is well.
Crispy, you are the man, and I mean THE man. I'm not one to admire others but, you, I admire you. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your boldness. God bless you and your family.
Just came from DemoRanch and searched for your story. You are a treasure this country, in it’s current state, doesn’t deserve. There are far too many reasons to list that we should thank you for. I won’t say that. I appreciate you for everything that you’ve sacrificed.
I just found Crispy through his video with Matt at demolition ranch, and I don’t understand how this video doesn’t have millions of views. A true inspiration of what it truly means to be an American, thank you for your service Crispy, you are an absolute beast of a human being.
Thank you for your sacrifice, service, and dedication. You are a true patriot and an inspiration for everyone. We need more people like you in this world. Keep up the good work buddy!!!!!
Each time I hear your story and see how you get on with life despite horrendous injuries I am amazed. I am also thankful because you inspire me to keep going with my own fight, against severe nerve pain, against slowly losing my sight and against the mental health battles that I have. I am not American, I am Australian but what you are about transcends borders, the message is still the same keep fighting and don’t let it win, thank you very much for simply being you it is inspiring.
No lives matter. B G was just making a suggestion. I can tell you have had a neglected life, dont post your insecurities on youtube. Especially crispys video.
Lol. I served to protect and uphold the constitution, which includes your right to say what you want. I'm fine with it. And I do think bouncers serve an important roll in keeping certain parts of society in line. Thank you.
Crispy you are a real.American Hero. Being born on the 4th of July i have always been, and still am. The service and sacrifice of men and women like you make me so proud to be an American. I pray every day for God to watch over and protect our men and women of service and their families. I also pray if it be His will to stop those trying to destroy our great nation. Thank you for all you've done and continue to do. You are truly an inspiration. God bless you Sir and God bless America.
This guy... geez. Not all heroes wear a Cape. This guy is a stud. What else can I say. The real definition of a warrior, a all around red blooded American. The battle buddy everyone prays for. Need I say more.
Thanks for sharing your story here. You are an inspiration to me. I have been struggling with diabetes and diabetic neuropathy this year and I know that I will never just give up. Thanks again and God bless you brother. Thanks so much for your service and sacrifice for our country.
Dude, you are a warrior! Everyone should know about you and your story! Thank you for being here, thank you for your story and your service. Your service didn't end with your injuries, you continue to be the inspiration we will need!
As always, I am awed by your story. I've heard it a couple times now and each time, wow. I know you don't want to admit it, but when you have Special Ops looking up to you and saying just how tough you are, that's the Webster's dictionary of badass. Much respect, Crispy.
An absolute inspiration every time I think of complaining about anything I think of your story and I push that much harder thanks for all you have done for so many people you’re a true role model
I just ran across your story. It definitely got to me but also gave me hope. You're an incredible person and proud to see your video. Thank you for your service and thank you for the strength to push through hard times.
After seeing this video and several of your short videos I realize this country is a better place because your father brought his family here, and also that your wife will never remember you're going hunting with the boys. God bless you and your family
Been following you for a long time...bought the ballistics mag with you on the cover and now my son is interested in you as well. Thanks for being a positive member of the veteran community but more importantly Thank you for being an inspiration to the younger generation!
thank you for your service to our country and for being an inspiration to so many people, you are amazing. I watched your who we are videos and I was amazed at how you pushed through your injuries to get others to safety, especially the part where you were in the hum-v with the new driver and was able to direct him even though you couldn't see and when he was freaking out you slapped him and told him to s.t.f.u. I was shocked but also amused, I would have loved to see the look on his face. I pitty the fool who complains to you. thanks for sharing your story, you are a superhero.
Thank you for your service!! I have tears in my eyes every time I hear your story, not because it’s sad, but of the pride I hear and see in you! Thank you for keeping us free!
Dude Crispy you are a real inspiration. All of us (I include myself) over here complaining about stupid stuff like gas prices and how expensive houses are right now, and you staying upbeat with all you've been through and live through every day. Keep on keeping on man!
