@@fuckit4512 Some people are jealous so they act stupid. And btw, OMG I FREAKING LOVE SLIPKNOT IM A BIG MAGGOT EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! Sorry sometimes i get too exited when i meet people that like slipknot 😅
In germany I cant even think about styling me like that... I would like to wear a few Kawaii stuff but I can’t :( cuz all people will think if I am be crazy:( .... cuz In Germany you cant wear this style ....
Unfortunately, there are always going to be hateful people in the world. But those people are the ones we should ignore. Just do what you love and be happy doing it.
Yes, this is extremely repetitive and nothing new. But there's people that enjoy discovering new people who may have similar interests. I'm personally interested in seeing different styles.
I think that all the videos of "living dolls" or lolita fashion are all very different. Although they're different, everybody in these videos have their same style.
@@naif8493 Honey this is so different. Alcoholics hurt themselves and usually end up hurting their famillies emotionally and sometimes physically. However, dressing in an alternative way is definitely not like that.
Well just like any other lifestyle, there's a community of people who want to look a certain way and that way is "a doll". I like dressing in this fashion style too and think of it as a doll fashion but it's not that we want to BE a doll. We want to "look" like a doll. We don't think we're going to become a doll just by dressing differently. We just want to emanate that delicate/soft look a doll does. It's comforting for many to dress this way. I like it because it adds a lot of color into my life. The colors are soft and I like the way I feel when wearing this type of fashion. Yeah, I'm nervous every time I do, but after a few minutes it makes me feel happy to be wearing what I am.
No, it's all about self expression. People who is into ANY kind of fashion do it all for self expression or to cope, at least from what I have gathered. Also, I know many people (including myself) are very closeted about even dressing up in pastel and soft colors, but many people seeing this who are into this kind of fashion (j-fashion / harajuku fashion) can feel less insecure about opening up about these types of things due to breaking social norms. Also many people, including myself, are into this type of pastel fashion because we feel better about ourselves and seeing the other video on this type of fashion made me really happy that other people are doing it too and really inspired me! These types of videos also educate many people on the topic so that nothing inaccurate is included which would make people automatically dislike it.
I love the Hooked on the Look series. I know people are whining about "this is just J-Fashion, you've done this already," but everyone expresses it differently and for different reasons. I've always found it especially interesting when people expand their "looks" to their home decor (Like the Barbie lady and the Goth Girl & Lolita Doll home) or even to surgical levels like the elf guy. As a designer, this fascinates me and helps me better understand the synergy between humans and expression, how they come about, and how it motivates them in their lives. Thank you for this!
She isn’t hurting anybody. So if she feels confident in this style, that’s good for her. People are judging her like they are PERFECT & never made MISTAKES in their life. #STOPIT 🛑🖐🏽 Let this beautiful soul do her thing with her friends.
Stefanie Roy Right!!! she seems so delightful & down to earth & confident in herself and her style. I’d love to be around a person like this beautiful soul
Parhavy Vilvaratnam beautiful. Prettiest girl,, but did you see the one that lives with the goth,, I freakin looove her look. Her for style, and this one looked Asian in the photos they showed. Did you notice
I honestly don’t have any problems with people who dress like dolls,Lolita dolls, very gothic and etc bc I’m so jelly bc I rlly want to look like them! I find them so beautiful!
I love how she said her dolls were listening. All my stuffed animals have their own unique personalities and they all have their own wants, so it's nice to come across someone that also has a connection with their sentimental "objects".
I know a lot of us see the people on this show and think they're freaks and just begging for attention but honestly I find these people to be incredibly inspiring. There's not a single one of us that doesn't wish we could be this confident and happy in our lives. 💕
What I love about being in the alternative fashion community is that we might look weird or scary or whatever but in reality we just wanna inspire people (◍•ᴗ•◍)
I love this! I have always liked a very “frilly” feminine look, despite having grown up in a rough neighborhood and seen a lot of things. A lot of people think I’m not aware of current styles or that I’m very naive or suburban because I dress this way. I already got picked on and learned not to worry about it when I started elementary school. It’s nothing new. I don’t think acting and looking tough is a helpful way for me to cope with struggles, or my surroundings, because it’s not me. Even though I still have to navigate the streets, I think being myself gets me more respect than playing a role that’s not me. I honestly don’t know why anybody wants to worry about how someone else dresses. If you don’t like it, don’t wear it. Obviously, dressing like others doesn’t really make you cooler, or people wouldn’t feel the need to criticize others.
Hey there! I know you didn't mean it in a bad way but here are some things you should know! - not everyone who dresses in pastel are the same style - everyone is unique with their style - (crybaby era Melanie was a vintage style) k 12 Melanie is her own style of pastel. - this woman is a living doll with parts from many clothing styles Many people who see people wear pastel immediately say: oh they remind me of Melanie Its not like Mel invented pastel colours. And there are absolutely no similarities between Melanie and her. Mel wear more revealing clothing, with many colours of pastel and a more casual approach whereas she goes full on with the doll like look Ok have a good day no hate byeeee
@@pleaseignorethisismyoldaccount Melanie Martinez is an icon. Many people only know about the more pastel-vintage style through her. You didn't need to correct me. Many people have put my type of comment on many of the other videos like these, and I doubt that you put that whole rant on all of theirs, so why do that with mine? It's a waste of both of our time, so why even bother?
*To everyone spamming the comment section just to complain about the frequency of living doll videos on this channel - feel free to not watch jeez! Yes this lifestyle seems increasingly popular but nowhere near the norm yet. I travel frequently for work throughout the world and have never yet seen this in real life sooo obviously not an everyday thing then. It also falls into their ‘hooked on the look’ category so actually makes sense for them to continue covering such stories. Their viewing figures also show a continued interest in this. So remember moaners just don’t duh click the play button if these videos trigger you! 🙄*
I love her vibes. I don’t like pastels personally but I’m happy to see her happy and her friends are happy 😃 those who don’t like it can be polite and not say anything
Usually when people are like oh my God you just like a doll you mean that as a bad thing but the fact that there's so many positive things and that are being said makes me really happy
her personality is like a rainbow and she is so soft spoken and polite, which is extremely rare to find theses days since its all about egos and popularity now. i want to be her friend.
Her colour palette is beautiful! Not my style n i haven't seen any dolls here in England tbh but it seems like there is a lot! I was actually in london on sat (never go to piccadilly near xmas u will regret it way to busy) You do you hun! ❤🏴
Bruh this girl has the best kind of friends ever there accepting loving and caring many people wish they had friends like this people even try buying friends but you can’t buy friendship this girl got it for free by just being her self🤩🤪🌸🌹🌺
I think she’s wonderful. And I feel like everyone should find what they love and completely go crazy with it and not care what other people think. Society is full of gems like this who do their own thing. Very inspiring and other people should learn from this❤️
I’m very respectful to the stuffed animals and toys that live in my room or in a little box house I made for my army of cat beanie boos (the other toys are kind of lifeless). It’s so nice to see people who also make sure to be kind to their toys. I made sure to let my army of cats know which one was my favorite and let them know that I still love them all. They feel very safe and comforted with pastels but for me bright and vibrant colors (especially primary) feel just so cozy. (P.S. I’m a kidcore/clowncore girl who likes to be Lolita but only on special occasions)
I used to love collecting the Brazilian dolls and the Monster high dolls for my daughters but they kind of trashed them I wish I'd kept them now. I love your style BTW you look amazing x
THE BIGGEST LIVING DOLL EVER*KEEP GOING IF U LIKE AND LOVE THE WAY U SEE DON'T LET ANYONE LET U DOWN FOR BEING WHAT U LIKE BE WHO U ARE THAT'S WHAT IT MATTERS*
