Seeing the promo of Danny Phantom and My Life as a Teenage Robot airing back to back makes me feel disappointed that there was never a crossover between the two shows. It could've been just as good as the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour specials.
@@CosmicSponge2004 our life as a teenage hero, brawn and bronze, Black and blue, of bytes and men, the ghosts and gadgets power hour, we need a hero, tremorville, both creators had a thing for old horror movie titles so maybe like The otherworldly terrors from the laboratories, idk.
McCrillis Nsiah I do understand what your saying, but wouldn’t Nickelodeon give it more attention if it was much more popular of a show. Because you know it’s popularity is particularly based on what the people watching the show has to say about it not the people in charge of airing it. That is at least how I see it, I might some how be wrong though.
Omggg this bought back so much nostalgia for me. I remember seeing all of these promos when the show was still on😊. I was 8 when the show came on now I’m 25 lol.
Not gonna lie…Nick should have had their own version of Toonami at the time the TeenNick block should have done it, heck I think Nick@Nite should do what TeenNick did in the 2010: Rerun old shows, get some anime, and focus on the hardcore fans of the brand.
@@mccrillisnsiah so that's why I won't watch SpongeBob anymore, it doesn't last forever, it changed because Nickelodeon is more focused on big money rather than making quality cartoon
@@mccrillisnsiah we actually should be grateful that cartoons like MLaaTR, Danny Phantom and Invader Zim ended years ago because looking at Nickelodeon now, I don't want them to make any more cartoons ever
I swear I heard some metalica in the background of one of those bumps on this video 2:30 to be exactly it must be the main riff from blackened how fitting
Well it's actually all based on the network executives' decision making when it comes to scheduling and advertising. As an example, back then to this very day, the Nick at Nite block would always start so early at either 8:30 p.m. or 9:00 p.m. (Fridays and Saturdays at 10:00 p.m.), not giving the other Nicktoons (including this show and Danny Phantom) to air during the primetime hours where TV ratings are the most highest. Long story short. Trust me...I know.
@@manofwisdom000 The Xs is another example too(If anyone really remembers that Nicktoon). Anytime it would air, it was always at the last slot on Fridays and some weekends before Nick At Nite began so it was treated like an unwanted stepchild compared to the other Nicktoons like SpongeBob, Fairly Oddparents, Jimmy Neutron, Avatar; TLA, and even Danny Phantom to an extent. It only lasted like almost 20 episodes or something from 2005-2006. Even when they advertised the show here and there, I guess not many where interested into the show.
I'm not a big fan of My Life as a Teenage Robot, but I would like to see the first promo if anyone has it. It was like the "Spotlight on Nickelodeon" promo but only longer and featured the Nickelodeon logo in the shape of a Swiss Army knife (or at least a rough facsimile of one). If anyone manages to get a copy of that promo, either on RU-vid or even on Google Drive, please share with me.
Well I’m glad that you liked what I did to it! I don’t have the original version anymore, sorry! If you happen to have a VPN, the first video will still be accessible in Canada. Otherwise, you could download the video and manually make the pitch higher.
