I tried to stay off social media this week due to the fact that all of my platforms wanted to spam me w/ “memories” of this week being the anniversary of the house fire I went thru in 2018. It happens every year and I stay away until it goes away lol no matter what I delete, it pops up somewhere. And the memories get me down. So I kept busy.
I normally try to stay away from getting TOO personal on my Instagram page. I try to keep it as strict to music as I can. But I’ve realized, i am a multi-faceted woman. I live a real life. I’m not interested in a soft girl era. Lol I’m only interested in working hard now to be able to one day live the life I’ve always dreamed of. It’s far from soft and it’s far from normal. It’s just… for me. 🤍🥰 I normally save the personal stuff for RU-vid and Tiktok bc my following is bigger yet I hardly know any of the supporters there lol (if that makes any sense at all, I think it’s an anxiety thing 🥴🤷🏾♀️) While I’m working on some beautiful musical projects right now, I’m learning how to trust the process and that it’s okay to take my time in order to make the outcome great. So while I do that, here’s a glimpse at the life I live daily…my real… working single mother life. We are not where we want to be by a long shot, but we are happy, we are making NEW memories. We are cautious, prayerful and determined. But mostly, we’re grateful! So here’s to living your truth peacefully and unapologetically! I didn’t choose this life, it chose me, and I’m doing the damn thing🥰
For those of you that made it this far, I’m also starting a blog. A blog about being a great mom, while learning to be a great mom.
