Hey you, I hope you are well and had a lovely weekend and new week start 🌿 It was lovely creating this holistic review of my time in Barcelona and visiting all these places, moments and feelings again. There are still a lot of places I forgot to include both for treats and little visit and hiking trails, but maybe I could add the rest in a little blog post in the future. Regarding racism, I’ve heard varying experiences of racism in Barcelona which almost made me not want to go. Also, I really admired how you handled your experience. If you had the opportunity to return, would you?🌸
Hi Kimberly, I am glad that you enjoyed the video and yes, please do check some of the places I mentioned 🤗 In regards to racism, I think it is possible to truly enjoy your stay and experience in Barcelona despite it even if you keep it in mind. I also think it it could also depend on your reason to being there; work, travel, study etc.. I try to remind myself, that racism has little if at all to do about black people, it is about the racist person and their idea of themselves in contrast to others most of the time... As long as I am not stopped on my way or things I need or want to do, not physically harmed, I try to leave it to their own energetic karma cause at this point, we are tired and life is too short ;-) I think I could return to visit friends but not to live I think... There are too many other places I have yet to explore and try out in this lifetime ☺, but I would like to visit more areas in Spain in general I did not manage to see while there :-)
