I love to watch people work at mechanical stuff especially bikes . Guy is a true artisan . What he said about buying motorbike mags from a young age ...I did the same thing 😁👍🏼 motorcycle mechanics magazine and motorcycling monthly magazine
Greetings from Wellingborough. I have a 2008 NT700V ABS and I commute to London every day (77 miles each way) and from the last month or so it has been losing power, it has a few other small mechanical issues but I need to resolve the lack of speed power first. I took it to my local mechanic and he does not know the cause. He has changed the spark plugs, caps and one of the HT leads. A while back I told him that I might get another bike since my current bike has already done 147k with me and I have to suspect that they might want me to buy a bike from them. This is just my speculation. I am doing 55 mph and even the lorry drivers get annoyed with me because they find it strange to overtake a motorbike in lane 1. I have commuted in heavy rain, ice and even snow. This bike does not look pretty but it is my workhorse. I would like to know if there is someone here that might be able to fault find the problem. I work nights (21:00 till 06:00) and I could travel to their location but I would need to be able to return with the bike in the afternoon since the bike is my only way to get to work in London. I could do 2 visits: 1 For trouble shooting, finding parts that needs replacing then put the bike back. Ordering the parts. 2 Once parts have arrived I can set another visit to replace them and do final check. I am willing to pay a bonus if the bike is fixed that that second day. I would be grateful for any help.
