I hope you’ll be healing by the end of it as well. I’m 25 now, and 22/23 were tough years. It felt like a bunch of negative things were happening, for no reason. At 24, things slowed down and I was able to take some steps back. And now 25 has been the same as 24. I’m almost 26 now too lol it’s crazy. Take as much time to heal as you need! By now, you know that all the dark times really make us appreciate the good times. Recognition that life is a gift, and worth enduring and living as long. and as best we can. I'm 70, and though I'm in my sunset years, I'm happy. Sunsets are beautiful, and that is how I see myself. I hope I live a lot longer (we all do), but when it's my time, I hope I can face it bravely and with dignity. Seeing you smiling in spite of setbacks gives me hope that your generation will fix a lot of crap my generation screwed up. 😊
@NateLawlor Thank you. I've beaten cancer twice, been shot, stabbed, kidnapped, raped, broke, homeless, and hungry. I refuse to give the grim reaper a foothold until it's inevitable. I am happy to be alive, lucky to be alive, and amazed I'm still kicking. Intelligent life is rare in the universe, and to be able to contemplate the special gift of life is profoundly humbling. Crying about everything that's wrong won't solve anything, nor elevate or alleviate what I lack. I prefer to admire all that I have, all that I am, all the beauty that surrounds me every moment. I did die at age 20 (50 years ago) but was resuscitated. I haven't feared death since, but I won't release my grasp on life until I have no choice.
Wow. You have such an incredible story, and have had such a difficult journey. Regardless, your outlook on life in inspiring and I will absolutely take this and try to apply it to my everyday. I’m incredibly proud of you and hope you have an easier journey. I also relate to you in the sense that life is so valuable. I did not! I went to the University of Tampa for 3 semesters. I was studying Marine Science, but ultimately it was the wrong time for me and I fell out of love with myself at the time. I will go back, if the time is ever right :)
I accepted my sexuality when I was 33 and it took awhile for the guilt and self loathing to subside. Eventually, it goes away and life gets so much better. It’s important to love yourself and you will succeed in anything you put your mind to. Get back to school if possible. Personally, my degree was a means to achieving my goals and I actually made a small difference in life for the better. Be safe and keep making videos. People are listening.

Italien, Irland, Schweiz, Deutschland... Oder über digital nomad visa. 1000 Euro im Monat online verdient reichen in vielen EU-Ländern. Zumindest auf den Kanaren. Mein Freund und ich leben hier bei 12 Monaten Sommer im Jahr echt preisgünstig. Maspalomas ist sowas wie Miami South Beach, nur besser, absolut sicher und keine Asozialen.
