I think you’re spot on with your review. I think all of this points will be the driver of telling next seasons story. One thing you didn’t mention was the trauma that Jackie is obviously going through. I can sense her down spiraling a little at the end of the season and a big reason she cheated on Alex. I do think Alex and Jackie will break up next season and it will be very dramatic for those who are team Alex and those who are solely team Jackie. That will be the opener to seeing Jackie trauma begin to unfold. But I believe her trauma pushes her closer to Cole because he understands what she’s going through better than Alex does and that will open the door for Alex and Kylie to pursue each other. So there is some redemption for those who just wanna see Alex happy. I believe Jackie will begin to assist Cole in school so that he can enter college and that’s how their relationship will begin. But seeing how this show is being told and how dramatic it is. Jackie and Cole relationship will definitely have its ups and down. It won’t be as happy as team Cole fans would want it to be. We have to remember it’s just season 2 and they will keep it just as dramatic as season 1. I’m also expecting it to end on another cliff hanger to keep us invested and anticipating for season 3. Maybe Cole will have another love interest or Jackie will realize she still have feelings for Alex. But I’m sure that things will be far from over in the love triangle between Jackie, Cole and Alex by the end of the season. My opinion is that things will begin to really heat up going into season 3 and Jackie will be just as confused and emotionally unstable as she was at the end of season 1😂
@@Isabelplayzcanada I feel like we need an explanation in why she would cheat on the guy who treated her like Gold the entire show. I believe her trauma of losing her family is causing her to become very dark and it just doesn’t fit her character. She’s more like Alex character wise but her pain and hurt is causing her to be more like Cole. A lot of ppl are saying that she changed Cole but if they were paying attention you could see that she was the one who was changing. She skipped, got drunk, started lying and eventually cheated on Alex. All of this happen with Cole. But she’s all things beautiful and caring and thoughtful with Alex. She’s truly happy with him when she’s not thinking about her family. All of her scenes you could see her smiling with Alex but she has a look of distress and confusion with Cole. The last scene with Cole, she was literally in tears before she kissed him so you could tell she was hurting and very vulnerable

He was more dramatic than Jackie and Jackie had every reason too ne dramatic. She needs serious therapy before she ruins all her goals in life and a relationship with Cole will only make things darker than it already is. She’s definitely not gonna earn any respect once her peers find out what she did to Alex after condemning Paige for cheating
Team Cole all the way! Honestly I feel like Alex is with Jackie mainly to rub it in Cole’s face, he prbly does Love her, but he smothers her. Does anyone else feel that way?
I believe Alex likes or loves Jackie coz she is more like him.. intelligent well behaved simple and grounded unlike cole who thinks his looks work more with girls and girls are attracted to him and can't say to him...that's y he chased Jackie coz she wasn't drooling all over him.alex is just scared that cole would take over Jackie like he did with paige and so he is afraid to lose Jackie and he doesn't want to go through those feelings and pain again. It happens to all of us who have been hurt betrayed once before....
I think Morgan is the guy in the beginning that offered Hayley a job that Hayley kept from Will. Maybe, she is still deciding. Secrets kept from each other is bad for a relationship. It will probably cause huge problems! 🤔

Im so angry at jackie i knew she would break alex heart rather there was a tea pot fixed or not. She ignored her feelings for cole from the start and went to alex cause he was a kind , good guy. Knowing how his brother broke his heart before with his ex yet she do the same. And never once expressed her feelings for cole since day 1 smh. ALEX didn't deserve that.
I don't think Jackie left bc of Alex or Cole. I think she left more bc she could not stand who she had become or the fact that she had gotten so distracted from her goal of getting into Princeton. I think she only wants to get into Princeton bc of her dad/it being a kind of connection to her family that she does not want to lose. my theory: Maybe in season 2 Cole will help Alex see his best friend by pretending to date Kiley (that might actually work idk) Bc Jackie just left like that, there's a chance that Alex and Cole could just bond over the fact that she left them both and kind of gang up against her (i could see that happening)
I don’t understand how anyone can say Cole changed. He’s still the same toxic individual who at the very end betrayed his brother just so he could be Jackie. It gets no lower than that. That even lower than what he did to Erin and Olivia. So this is blatant proof that this guy hadn’t truly changed. He’s still self centered, deceitful, manipulative and inconsiderate guy he was in the beginning of the show. Maybe worse than before
Don’t get too attached to this show. We all know how Netflix likes to cancel shows after telling people “season two will definitely be out soon” and then we never see it again. 😭
Alex liked Jackie but they had some moments but Cole and Jackie they had something greater then with the other girls Cole dated it's like he wanted Jackie to be his girlfriend
I love how this show has a very positive spin on diversity. I wish though that with today’s political climate, the narrative can address the glaring contemporary issues of the day.Also Cole treated the females in his life horribly. He needs to learn a tough lesson regarding this-part of growth and character development.

I think once she truly gets over the trauma of losing her entire family she’s gonna realize that Alex is the one who truly makes her happy. Right now her pain and hurt is confusing her and causing her to relate to Cole because he’s also being very traumatized because of his football injury. But Cole is a very dark individual and very self centered. It speaks generally to what type of person he truly is where he would hurt people to get what he wants. He thinks only of himself and doesn’t care rather what he does actually hurts people.
