He needs to change who he hangs out with. Those “friends” aren’t good friends. Instead of encouraging and supporting him, they are ridiculing him and telling him to drink even after he tells them that his insides don’t feel good. I really hated this episode. He has surrounded himself with alcoholics and he needs to get away from them if he is serious about quitting. What a messed up culture of celebrated alcoholism they have in that country😢

Alcholism is not easy to walk away from. Serious withdrawals happen as well. And support is needed. Especially as it may have been triggered by the loss of his brother. That needs addressed. He won't be able to stop unless he completely changes behavior and stays away from drinking buddies. He needs a support system person to call when he'sweak. Regretfully S. KOREA has a serious issue with over drinking..

In some way, Joonho calling him like this, and saying he'll call again tomorrow might be helpful. It is pushing Donggun to confirm verbally that he is quitting, triggering his competitiveness to be like "I will stop drinking, even if you try to stop me". And calling again tomorrow will make him renew that promise and make him continue without alcohol

I dont know why some people are judging him or his friends(hop his friends all respect his decision). he said he has being taking alcohol for 10 yrs before he met the current friends.also overcoming something u are addicted to for a long tym is not easy it will take some tym.the only thing we can do is to wish him all the best with his decision

I like him. I really do. But to get back on the big screen, he needs to be clean. Not just because of the alcohol, but also to find himself again. He has to live healthy and always think positively. Unfortunately, alcohol doesn't help him do that. He needs a regular life so that he can be there for his daughter. And if someone can't stop thinking about alcohol, then they are addicted. That's why he needs to go to rehab. This man doesn't need alcohol. He needs friends who support him and don't want to talk him into the next drink like Jun Ho and he needs a good job, sport, love and simply a new life. He finally needs to live again. Wake up and turn your life around LEE DONG GUN! *Because you only have one!*

You are amazing! It’s not easy to change drinking habits but with perseverance, it is certainly possible. You should try some zero alcohol beer and wine. I know Asahi and Heineken does 0% alcohol beer.

In Korea a widely acceptable drug is alcohol, if you smoke it not ok but then to drink yourself to death that's alright?????? The drinking culture in parts of Asia is for me something I cannot comprehend.
