so nice to hear from you! Yeah, Sergey is an incredible twister - the best on youtube in my opinion. I have kind of started to mainly do balloon decoration tutorials at this point because that's where the money is, but hopefully I will be inspired to twist more balloon creations soon. How are you doing? How is business?

I just discover Sergey a few months ago - I'm trying to build a repertoire of one balloon designs. I never work twisting on a "Pay per design" - I get hired by the hour for events and have a tip jar. I've noticed over the years that you can get a $5 tip for a one balloon standard dog and then $2 for a 3 balloon penguin! It's taken me years to realize that it's all about impressing the client and with Sergey's designs you can do that with just one balloon. I've emailed you directly to your RU-vid channel. I love to save people money. Believe it or not, $70 is really cheap for a pro to charge. People pay me hundreds of dollars for certain event decorations. These customers don’t know about my videos, though, haha.

I was originally going to do the Star Quad (5) version, but at the end I felt the demo would be easier on me and the viewers with standard 4-balloon quads. The idea of showing different versions of the columns I tutorialize seems like something that should continue.

Hi there. I made this vid quite a long time ago, but the spiral stack is comprised of “star quads” (five-balloon quads with five different colors) You can stack these and bind them until you are satisfied with the look of the spiral.

Hi! Yes. Sounds like your quads are not stacked tightly enough. When you tie one quad into the other, you want to make sure to push down on the top quad as you add them - that way they are constricted together and creates a stronger and more solid tower. I haven't been making columns for very long, but as I learned it became easier and easier as I made more of them. It does take some getting used to, but evenly-sized balloons, constricted quads, a good weight at the bottom, etc. will help give your columns better structure. Of course, pole and baseplate is ideal for beginners, but I just love the indoor decor more as it is free from cumbersome non-balloon extras. It was not that long ago that I was frustrated with freestanding columns and couldn't quite make them correctly, but it all starts to fall into place suddenly once you've made enough balloon decór - so stick with it! -Sage

Hello! Create Star Quads (5 balloons in each quad instead of standard 4) with 5 different colors. As they are connected and tied together, intersect them with the same colors touching, one on top of the other. Continue placing them and the colors will shift slightly to one side as the column forms. Keep all the quad colors in the same order in each quad and keep stacking them and the spiral will emerge on its own. If you need more clarification I will try to explain another way. Thank you.

My answer to this question is always the same - they will look their absolute best in regard to the luster of the balloons and their sustained inflation within 24 hours of creation. I like to make them the night before an event and store them overnight covered in large plastic bags. You can make them days in advance but they will not have the impressive aesthetic they do initially upon first being created. You could conceivably make them 48 hours in advance but they won’t look as nice. It’s not the deflation you mainly have to be concerned about - it’s that stretched latex exposed to air for long periods of time will result in balloons that are not shiny and bright but dull and weathered-looking.

Lucia Hasani he gave the sizes of balloons at the beginning. Play and stop video to write down the sizes. I believe you can also slow down the speed of the video on settings. Hope this helps.

Hi. For the spiral, you simply use five different colors and align them in an intersecting way in which the colors are shifting slightly to one side as they are stacked, eventually creating the effect.
