They did a great job of refurbishing the bag. It definitely looks brand new. I probably wouldn't have changed the bottom vachetta either. It still has the vintage touch, and you don't have to be as cautious when setting your bag down, because the bottom is already worn in. Did they say why it took so long? I have a few bags I want to get repaired, but don't want to wait more than 6 months to get them back.
Yes, I’m so happy with the outcome even though I waited a long time. Yes, I agree with you in regards to the bottom of the bag. As far as the waiting period I was informed that LV was waiting for a leather part to arrive. I’m not sure what part was missing but the original turn around time was 6 to 8 weeks!
@@Luvintoshop that was a ridiculous wait time. I know repairs typically take 6 to 8 weeks, but 6+ months is unacceptable. I'm so happy they waived most of the repair cost, and you only paid $80. I know you wanted to raise hell with them, Lol!
