Thank you for this video! I need a zipper repair on a trousse 28. This was super helpful in regards to repair experience. Fingers crossed they reline mine too! I also had no idea the ones form the 80s needed to be requested!

I requested a quote, accepted the quote, sent my bag in for repair. 6 weeks later I received an email that my bag was repaired and ready, sent me the invoice, I paid 10 days ago. I received my receipt the same day but 10 days later there is still no tracking and Louis Vuitton keeps saying “tracking to come”. My repair was $1070. At this point I am thinking that lost my bag….i am very frustrated 😩. Glad you had the opposite experience of myself.

Have you contacted your repair specialist? I would reach out to and let them know about my experience and inquire on when tracking will be available for my item. Hope this helps and I hope you get your item soon

So informative. I tore my lining out because it was so damaged. I don’t think they can repair it as I may have compromised the canvas. But it’s worth a try! My graceful needs new glazing on the strap 😢 so I’ll take that in. Thx for again sis.

They won’t repair it 😢 I did the same thing and they said it was not authentic anymore. They refused to repair it. I now use it as catch all in my closet for hair clips.

Check with Leather Surgeons or Rago Brothers. I have used both for LV and Chanel pieces.

Heyyyy boo! Definitely check out eBay for any of the trousse’s the price is right you can get them under $350 and the repair process was totally worth it. The app is too easy, I’ll definitely be using it again in the future.

I have the Trousseau 28 vintage and it's now sticky inside and out. Not sure what happened. Wonder if they can clean the outside so it's no longer sticky and replace the interior.
