Like your Canadian silver stack. King George VI (the sixth) is who are referring to for the 1943 50 Cents coin. I also like Canadian coins whether they're silver or not. I agree that Canada does a great job of producing a variety of designs on their coinage. Anytime I find George the 5th coins, I try to add them to my collection. Happy staking.
Nice Canadian stack! You are right the monarch image faces opposite direction of the previous one with changing of monarchs both on Canadian and UK coins. 1999 was the start of privy marks according to info I have. 2005 Netherlands commemorative Maples are the lowest mintage and highly sought. 1911 Silver dollars are the Holy Grail of Canadian coins. Only 3 known, 1 in a museum and 1 available in the outside world. Lets get lookin!! 😠👍
I always remember all of the people who complained about Canadian coins in their change. I grew up about 5 minutes from the Ambassador Bridge that connects Detroit to Windsor. At one time, I had a big glass jar of Canadian coins. If I only knew then what I know now. I’m sure there was probably some silver in there.
@MichiStacker 🤣Our lives... shoulda, woulda, coulda! We used to get the quarters, dimes, and beaver Nickels in change from the neighborhood grocery down in Missouri! Of course candy bars were real chocolate and cost 5cents and a long neck glass bottle rootbeer was 10cents! Truly "the good old days"!
