My Love In The Morning - a jig in A Dorian tabbed for mandolin and played by Aidan Crossey 

This is a lovely jig which I came across in an online version of Breandan Breathnach's Ceol Rince na hEireann Volume 1. The title intrigued me as I couldn't recall having seen the tune on any albums I own and so I started to play the tune as it was written. I was immediately hooked. There's a view held by some players of Irish music that we should avoid books and learn all our tunes by listening. But when the tune hasn't been recorded (or at least isn't in any of the tunes in our collections), and we don't have access to sessions, how else are we supposed to make the chance discoveries that fire us up?
