At first i was also caught off guard when fourth started singing. But it was a pleasant surprise, given that they have heavenly vocalz. Im not sure about the whole series being a musical but I do remember a scene from the trailer that they were singing karaoke together. So possibly more songs in the future episodes❤🎉
I agree that G4's chemistry is something incredible. It's like looking at something so simple, but feeling like you're bothering those two by doing that hahaha. As if you are superfluous when they look at each other or just share those “moments” on the screen.💫👌
Yeah I figured in universe they would have picked songs that fit what replacement Cinderella and the prince would be feeling, my question is whether the audience can also hear the backing track, or whether it’s acapella as far as they’re concerned
Alternatively, maybe there’s a Thai version of Cinderella that’s similar to the Rogers and Hammerstein version, insofar as it has a bunch of songs specifically written for it and is very much a musical? I believe the R&H version was on broadway, but I know it from the movie when Brandy was Cinderella and Whitney Houston was the fairy godmother, I used to watch it all the time on vhs
I headcanoned myself into thinking the songs were like popular radio songs in thailand, like how a lot of people know the words to mamma mia the musical cause they are popular songs! That's how I held up my suspension of disbelief!
omg freddie you have no idea how wonderful it is to see you on here again! i'm really loving the series so far, its definitely got its own little flavour to it compared to the original. i watched kieta hatsukoi a little while ago but i loved it so much! there's a lot of criticism at the moment especially over on reddit but i'm loving how sweet and cute it is so i have little complaints! 😣

My guess for the part 3 thing is because of the play. I think they did not want to interrupt the play, so they decided to put both the play and ending in part 4 instead.
Some people are saying their classmates were quite homophobic. I disagree. If anything, it was Atom who exhibited internalized homophobia. I mean they just said they look good together and somewhat suggested they might have feelings for each other, yet Atom immediately got triggered and defensive. That's a clear sign of internalized homophobia. Although, I would agree that their classmates were toxic in terms of being nosy.
