My Luxe Look Dreamsnap Results SHOCKED Me in Disney Dreamlight Valley. I Don't Understand... 

Both were fantastic, but the second was very eye-catching because of the light.

I've noticed that photos with tons of lights and sparkles often do better.

I love that just when you think you’ve figured out Dreamsnaps and you’re a “mind wizard” you have your world rocked.

I think your second account submission did better because of Blinding Lights. I have no other explanation and I think I like it better too. Also congratulations for 4k moonstones

If it's full of sparkles it catches especially the younger players eye. Also the players that scroll through quickly to vote and get their moonstones, they do the same. I don't think many players really take time to look closely at the dreamsnap pictures and think about their choice.

This week I got 4k and ranked 206 for my simple one that took very little time. It was beast mid transformation back into the wealthiest prince in all the land.

I always feel that your submissions are super crisp, vibrant, clear, almost perfect. I would have thought you would have got 4000 for your main account, but as you have said before, the more creative ones, are usually not voted on, if they don't catch the voters eye immediately. But I know why your alt account got 4000, the presentation, the character up front and centre, bright, sparkly and as you have said before, sometimes the more simple ones do better. it was eye catching. But I honestly felt both of them were. Take care Star 🌟🌟🌟

The last couple of weeks have convinced me - if you think you have enough candles and sparkles to melt someone's eyes...you're at about half the amount of candles you need for a high ranking Dreamsnap :P. My husband generally does silly Dreamsnaps with a bunch of plush monsters and the critter table and he's planning to test this theory this week by doing that again and putting as many candelabras as he can fit in a picture lol

You can buy premium shop stuff you're not interested in just to test them on the 2nd acct, but then just don't use them in dreamsnaps. Still holds true to the vision for the 2nd acct, but you can do something there with those moonstones! Lol. If you're going to be grabbing stuff just to show us how it works may as well dump it there!

I got 2500 Moonstones and I am surprised. I always get 600 on outfit challenges. My daughter and I did the same outfit, so same tags and she only got 600. Thanks for the video. Congrats for what you got.

Great lighting on the second picture, even though it was more simple it was still on theme and that’s what a lot of people are looking for

It’s very simple, the second one is extremely eye catching. It sparkles, it’s bright, it’s symmetrical and it’s easy to look at. It’s going to be easy to vote for when out against a snap that’s the opposite to that. I hate voting cause I get junk snaps of ppl just standing in selfie mode so of course I’m going to vote for whatever stands out visually to me and most ppl are like that. Most ppl don’t have time or patience to look closer at every single detail.

They both looked great! It was an outfit challenge, and your second one really featured the character, where the first one doesn’t feature the outfit- but I bet the first one would have gotten 4k if it was for Treasure Trove!

I don't get it! How did this submission not get 4k? You used all the right tags, had treasure, Scrooge, good lighting, and even a solid backstory! Dreamsnaps is so confusing!!!

I loved both, but I think since this one was an outfit challenge and Luxe is more about luxurious the outfit and design on the 2nd account fit the theme better. Both were great, but I think you're main one fit this weeks Treasure Trove theme more.

I think it also depends on what you go against. Sometimes i get 2 pictures and one is exactly the task and the other has nothing to do with it. I think this is what happens.

The why is simple, I think the most relevant thing for the results is the people's vote and people vote many times without paying much attention. I think that simple images, with nice lighting and nice composition are the most beneficial.

I don't try on dreamsnaps anymore. I barely get much. So I just do it in fun and get free stuff and moonstones

You said you maxed out the suggested tags, but I don't think you hit the suggested tag of bracelet on either submission, which most likely really hurt both of them. Personally, I prefer your primary submission, which was really good. It just seems like the more light and sparkle in a photo, the better the submissions did. Congrats on 4k and even the 2500! ❤

I had Scrooge and gold piles in mine. Super simple and still got 4k. Worked on it for at max, 20 min. It's always interesting how results turn out. You just never know what's gonna happen... Which is super annoying 😅

To be honest, if I saw both submissions side by side, I probably would have voted for the second account. I like simple but good-looking submissions.

Heres my thoughts, people love the lights, they are into glowy bright submissions. As someone with 2 accounts i understand the anguish when the account youre less personally invested in beats your main account. Sometimes i too am shouting WHY at the screen. Congrats on being right 😅 im usually pretty happy with 2500 when i cant get 4k. I liked both entries and the majority of your time on this snap was the spiral you had before you decided on the dune location so go easy on yourself.

I’m so thankful I got 4k this week since it’s been up and down lately for me. I’ve had to skip some premium items this last few weeks due to not having enough moonstones. 😅

According to the dreamsnap part of their website, tags only go towards how much pixel dust you receive.

@MrStarInSky ... have you tried making the EXACT same image with outfit as well on both accounts, but hide other stuff in image so tags are higher and see how they do?

I think it was because people went to literal with it.. it didn’t have to be about all the money and piles of gold.. I think it was about a pretty luxurious outfit.. I had no gold in my shot but bright colors and got 4K.

I truly believe that it's the total esthetic of the picture that the individual is looking at .. tags help a bit IMO but it's really whomever is looking at it if they think it's "pretty" or just matches the vibe then they get the vote ..

I understand the pain. I put a ton of effect onto my submission but I didn’t follow the norm. I only got 600.. I am really hurt by this one.

The thing is it. Literally said your luxe look in the theme park and people went treasure and money which was last week no one reads the description clearly and I only got 300 for it I thought I'd get at least 1509

I think I do understand. The theme was luxe not treasure, and the second pic really looks luxurious. I think high tags do matter (but mainly the mandatory ones); you still need an attention-grabbing shot.
