The process of sending them to repairs (they send them all the way back to France) and the price, because they’d need to probably entirely replace the leather, is just not worth it to me, because I don’t mind the damages as much! As I said, I don’t mind that my handbags look used and worn.

you've got a lovely collection of bags , i really love the chanel bags , i think that boybag just needs a good polish & a little touch up , then it would be sellable , as it's a lovely bag , the only thing i can afford is a dupe bag lol , although i do have a nice karl lagerfeld bag which is similar to the chanel , but is realllly heavy lol .

I’ve seen a few that I liked quite a bit and the quality wasn’t bad for a fraction of the price! Lauren by Ralph Lauren also does some really nice affordable bags! I’ve been battling a lot recently with the heaviness of bags.. I don’t know if it’s a sign of my age or what, but I can definitely feel it in my back!
I think the reasons we used to buy luxury goods are no longer valid. I love the feel of a well-made, buttery soft leather bag. Now that these mansions are cutting corners and jacking up prices, young people don't see the value and the luxury side, so all that's left is for them to see. This is sad and I hope they eventually go back to their basics and reduce the mass production of bags. And now some replicas are doing really well. Rec

Hi Doreen, The speedy was the first handbag I got back in.. what must have been either 2010 or 2011 and admittedly absolutely have not taken care of it very well. Though I am curious to know what, in your opinion, makes it seem fake?
@@Ingridnielsenn I noticed the vachetta leather side pipings don't have patina like the rest of the vachettas. My aunt used to have the same bag bought onlind, she also thought was authentic until the side pipings didn't turn horny and patina

I can clarify that immediately by saying again, I didn’t take care of the bag at all, and actually a large majority of the side piping’s had entirely worn off (from travelling and generally lack of care) so I got the piping replaced (not from a Louis Vuitton official repair but a bag tailor, it was cheaper). This was only a few years ago 😊

Someone who is passionate about knitting doesn’t get the scrutiny of being a show off when showcasing their collection of yarn. Just because yarn is a great deal cheaper. This video was in no shape or form for me to showcase an imaginary number in my bank account, but to showcase something I have been collecting for over a decade.

Many people (including myself) share the same joy of bags and enjoy watching these videos. I don't have any designer boutique close to where I live so I depend on these videos to give me insights and reviews on bags. I don't know how your algorithm led you here but showing bag collections isn't anything new. Admire and move on.
