Yeah I think Warrior is walking away relatively unscathed here. Brewmaster looks like it might actually be stronger with the armor + stagger buffs.

Thanks for the great question! I do consider that for sure but it's more of a secondary consideration. In short all of the tanks have a spec I'd be happy with playing as on off-spec in keys or even in raid. Fury is probably my favorite DPS spec in the game period, but I also like Unholy, Windwalker, Feral (less so but I've got a soft spot for it) and Resto, Havoc, and Ret.

That seems to be the relative power ranking of them for sure, though I want to do more testing before I'd lock that in.

I made and posted this video before nerfs were announced. It seemed reasonable at the time to think they wouldn't do something like this with a month to go before release, but I guess that was incorrect. Still, the nerfs as they are now don't change how I feel about Warrior, and if they're bringing even more nerfs on top of this I don't even know what to say.

@@ThordrenekGaming From experience I wouldn't put anything past them, before the release of Shadowlands Frost Mage was looking the business, which was great since I mained a Mage and it didn't have the complexity of the Arcane or Fire ramps, Blizzard totally gutted the spec the week before release because someone over there panicked it was too strong and it stayed that way for the entire expansion.

Yeah I'm gonna record a video about this later today when I have time. The nerfs seem even-ish across the board so I don't think it changes the relative strengths of tanks to each other very much. I don't think any of them were heavy handed enough to change my opinions or relative enjoyment of each tank though.

@@candulimataoo2852 The Blood one does hurt after reading it more closely. Death Strike got gutted and Blood was already the tank most susceptible to randomly flopping. The armor buff to Bone Shield is good, but I think Blood needs another baseline damage reduction buff to compensate here. Ultimately I think how this plays out is going to depend on how they tune the dungeons. It's very concerning that the full patch notes don't have any dungeon changes...

Already posted a video on it, haha. Blood DK hurting for sure, but I think Prot Warrior didn't get hit very hard.
