Life saver...thanks for the breakdown. I have the MOXF6 and was trying to figure out how to layer multi timbres or sounds so don't not necessarily have to bring or use a second board!
Thanks for sharing man! Looking at options and the MOXF8 popped up, I'm primarily looking for good live performance tones and weighted 88 keys as a mandate. Surprised it does not carry additional tones from the regular Motif series (Motif 6 etc) I was looking for more Piano, Rhodes tones as options but thanks for the insight on this. Appreciate it!
I love my MOXF8. Its a complete audio digital workstation. I've created 16 track music patterns, chained them together to create songs, and saved them to my USB drive. I wish it would convert the songs to a universal format so that I can share
Hello Justin, it does read USB. It has a USB jack and standard In, Out and Thru Midi connections in the back of it. I believe you can upload additional sounds as well. This is a great board!
I use this same model for church. IVe had this since 2016 and I still love it. Great video man. A lot of people switch to the Nord but mannn i just love this piano so much i dont wanna change lol. Once again, aweson Vid
Thanks for the wonderful description of the MOXF8. At my church, we have the Motif ES 8. However, you helped me to understand my instrument a little better. You are a "Great Teacher" and I appreciate your dynamic lessons that help me to improve.
I use this keyboard as well. A lot of people are switching to the Nord but this is a great all around board for live playing and recording. Great video
I know I'm late getting to your comments. I'm a guitar person and I've been learning piano. Well, I recently got the MOXF8 and I'm nearly lost trying to figure this thing out. I've seen other people helping on RU-vid but they go into things assuming you know the basics. I need a progressive stepwise entry into using all the buttons and dials. I'd love to see you bring a series of videos to get people like me going. And, thumbs up to your playing!
Yea, me too. It's a great keyboard, but has a REALLY steep learning curve. (Allot of things are not plainly laid out). Would LOVE to see more instructional videos as well...
@@vitomasilotti So you have experience with other keyboards? I started on a piano just a year ago. I've done guitar for decades but this is my first keyboard.
@@TheGuy.. Yea, I'm a part time musician, singer/songwriter. (I also play guitar, and of course, the Keyboard). I took a chance and purchased the MOXF8 about 2 yrs ago already, at Guitar Center. I've owned and traded in a few keyboards since, but currently still have this keyboard. There's just something about it. Love the look of it, the sounds, the keyboard action is awesome, and really dig the Performance Mode thing. But as I said, there is ALLOT to it, and not easy to learn all the deeper functions...
