My brother is addicted to meth. He is 36. I tried to talk to him today. He cried. Said he would try to change his life and not use again. Called me a few hours ago, thanked me for being his sister.. he was so high. Please pray for him.

I'm a almost 2 years sober off meth. You need to try and get him into treatment. It's very unlikely he will do it on his own. Lots of places will cover it even with just the state offered insurance. You can find places that will sponsor him by calling around too. Depending on the state, it can be a lot easier to get in one than you would think.

I spent three years doing math every day. I never injected or smoked it, but it was still an addiction. The only way I got cleaned was to leave where I lived and moved 1200 miles away. I didn't search it out, I broke all contact with the people that I used with in my old city, and I never looked back It was a hell of a first month. I had headaches and all I could do was sleep, and when I wasn't sleeping, all I could do was nervously walk around. I took lots of supplements and amino acids and rebuilt my body through all of that sleep. A few times I thought about going back to visit, but I know I cannot do that because all of those people are still there using and I know I would be high within an hour of landing there. My only option, is to stay away 🙏 It's been 1221 days that I've been clean May God bless all of us and keep a strong

I got on meth for a few years. Started the same way. Was in an abusive relationship and my ex was using heavily. It completely ruined my life. Ended up living in my car, never sleeping, and in a meth psychosis. Between that, and the abuse from my ex, It culminated into an incident that landed me in LA county jail for a year. All bad. That all happened in about 2-1/2-3 years. Horrible drug. Im almost 2 years sober now.

Meth makes you hyper sexual. I tried it a few times in my early 20s and had similar experiences and that’s why I hated the drug because all I could think about was women when I’m on it. My drug of choice was pain pills, hard as hell to get off of but it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. It’s the physical addiction that’s the hardest to get over with pain pills. Congratulations on your sobriety, as u know now chasing a drug is no way to live life. I related with so many things u said, you definitely attract like minds when you’re using no matter where u go you’re always bringing your problems with u.

Thanks for the story. I'm currently battling a meth addiction, been 5 years. It's relentless. I'm trying to stop but keep going back. When your dealer ran out and you could no longer get it, did you have a bad withdrawal. I went through meth withdrawal once a few years back. The worst most depressing week of my life. Words cant even describe it. Thankfully since then I've never become dependant or a daily user again. But still in the throes of it. I cant believe believe you were going to the gym working out on it, haha fk that's dangerous man. I've never done physical activity on it, too scared lol

i tell everyone who will listen (since anyone i know now is a user like me unfortunately) coming down off meth is all psychological. un-aliving yourself seems like a logical answer. your mind plays tricks on you. you have to keep telling yourself “these thoughts aren’t real, it’s just the drugs. these thoughts aren’t real just get thru today”
@danielblackwell7712
@danielblackwell7712 2 года назад
@@michaelsalvucci4260 yes you're right it is all psychological but honestly to God I've never experienced depression like it before surprised I didn't kill myself. I always struggled with the comedowns and the depression from it thats what kept me hooked on it. I've been off it for 18 days by the grace of god. One day at a time.

I sympathize with your story bro. I was in jail a while back for a similar thing. A made-up DV threatening charge. Only the charge against me was a felony. For threatening, allegedly. No physical abuse. I ended up being in jail for five freaking weeks because my bail was 5 grand. They finally dropped it down to 1500 and I was able to bail out. Tested a drug or two in my time too. I tried meth once and planned on never using again after that (you know how that shit goes), but here I am two years later I’m still smoking it off and on and my life’s at an all time low. Thanks for sharing. The shame that you carry from situations it caused really hit me because I don't raise my head anymore to make eye contact with anyone. I've isolated myself in my apt and have cut almost all ties with anyone. I sat here a type 2 diabetic still shooting .I need a total hip replacement but my orthopedic Dr will not touch me till I'm clean. I don't blame him, but like you said it's sick and I know it but it's like it's my only friend and I created that. I'm sitting hear neglecting health issues that can eventually kill me , I know it but continue to basically kill myself but slowly wtf is wrong with me. But the shame and humiliation of my ppl knowing this too is too much man. So I isolate and plunge the guilt away for a little while . The sad part is my 63 yr old mother is right beside me . I know she's an adult but I'll never live that part down I'll always know that it's my fault . She will kill herself trying to be here for her son. It's all so fucking sick man. I'm watching a car crash but for whatever reason I don't hit the brakes. I'll never forgive myself for any of it . But thanks for sharing man cause I hadn't realized how much the shame and guilt affects me till today. Don't look back bro and be safe.

@TrustNonebutOne. 11 месяцев назад
It's not a phenomenon, it actually happens... & not just to people who have used, but many others who have never even experienced it. Great question tho, I was actually wondering the same. There is def a "rogue force" that will play god in many ways, making shit happen to u. Whether sending in informants to entrap u, or spreading ur personal info around, in name smearing campaigns to negatively effect ur life. So much can happen to a person's life, NOT of their own doing, with the fact that those rogue groups claim they are pushing u to a rock bottom in order to help you. However, it is only "helpful" to who they choose to help. Most of the times, it is only meant to impact u in harmful ways that can be used as plausible deniability for ur usage. A lot just can't understand what's happening in their life & may only use more. Yet no one can just come out & be honest about what they're doing to u. Also bcuz of how badly u are judged. BUT BELIEVE THIS, IT IS VERY REAL! & Even when u get clean they send random to u to get u hooked again. Esp if ur of a certain minority. They have other "uses" for u... like experimentation or information gathering, etc.; although a lot know about it, they will never tell u, & also get compensated for being involved! Even ur own family. The "affects" can be deadly & many times they are meant to be! What this guy did right here: (exposing his past so openly) is ome of the biggest ways to combat the abuses they so often cause others. Since it is a spiritual attack against u as well, it very much helps when u are honest & good, within ur soul. Those are the people stalked, harassed, criticized no matter what & even set up by preplanned situations, indefinitely! It seems to never stop... bcuz you are 'chosen,' & sum of them know it! They're nothing but devil's in human form. 💯

There is a spiritual freedom in sharing ur trials with others... it's the potential to help someone else struggling. Also u gain a bit of that freedom by sharing openly & honestly. The shame doesnt hold power over you which can continue to negatively impact ur life, if left as secrets! It has power over u that can be tapped into by the wrong ones who can & will, use that energy or circumstances over u... it hinders ur life moving forward. ✊🏽 Kudos to this guy, he spoke his truth & I can clearly tell that a part of him knows this, just by how clearly he owned up to his part of the chaos & how he makes sure not to dwell too much on the specific details of that crazy time, & doesn't glorify nor excuse his experiences. I am very sure that so much more happened he couldve said, yet he just stuck with the basics... ofc for the common cave folks of today. DRUGS BAD, DON'T DO! 💯

You look great and healthy brother I'm glad you were able to overcome that addiction. I wish there was more videos like this one, of people sharing their experiences being addicted to meth. I hope you make more videos talking about your addiction experience man, I know there's hell of a lot of insight to be gained for us viewers, I feel like you barely even scratched the surface and there's so much more to talk about!

I’m not a fan of suboxone it was a crutch for me and I’m glad I got away from that drug as well. I’m going to do a video on my experiences with it soon. Congrats on staying sober.
