As a Capitals fan, I have no problem with your 92 point prediction. The roster got a lot better, but it's unlikely for Lindgren to do as well as he did last season, and I don't know if they can repeat their success in winning close games. Your prediction is right in line with my expectations for them. If Dubois exceeds expectations, and a few other things go right, they could hit 100+ points. But most likely they're going to be around 92 points as we're both expecting.
I liked Carbery as a coach last season, but his talk about switching Ovechkin to Right Wing this season has me very worried. Oates was a great player, but he was not a great coach, and moving Ovechkin to RW didn't work when he did it, so it frustrates me that Carbery is talking about doing that now. Carbery is also trying to put Miroshnichenko on the Right Wing, because Carbery has this archaic idea that right handed shooters like Ovechkin and Miroshnichenko need to play on the Right Wing.
i think devils do bounce back but i think first place is very bullish for a team that just missed the playoffs and replaced their inconsistent goalie with another inconsistent goalie
I think Pittsburgh and Philly can flip flop as well as Washington and isles and nyr and njd All 3 of these can go either way but pretty accurate predictions Should be a very competitive division outside of cbj obviously
I can’t see 4 teams from the Metro making the playoffs. I think the Atlantic is far and away the better (and younger (more room to improve)) division. I think the Atlantic takes 5 spots
